god damn, Anthony is smart, he was able to get the shit AEF to tie with the best reg in the game. The tactical geniusness needed to pull off such a feat is insane. He's the Erwin Rommel of NW.

If you keep the server files (ability to host) away from the mobs claws, people will break in and find a way just like those PA guys did with Persistent Frontier.

But keeping mod centralized is best thing to do if you want community to stay alive.

Blood and Iron went through that problem. At first all was well with only one official server, no other servers, then new servers popped up and the mod has since been decaying in public play. Having only one server would definitely keep this mod alive and keep everyone together.

Citing my experience with PF and the PA, they did not take down their server even though it was the PF Teams intellectual property.  So unless you make some legal mumbo-jumbo anyone can make a server and do whatever (at least that's what happened in this situation)
