so i just looked at the FAQ, it says that the closed beta will be available to contributors? is dis true? is there a certain amount to get in?
you mean you would be willing to pay to get a closed beta of a mod that could be released this week or the next one?
Contributors as in, people who actually gave effort in the mod.

How many of you guys setting up regiments are going top have a to rank of captain as I think I will as there no real need to have col in this as you have rather large amount of ranks to fill under captain thought I guess it's up to how you set up the rank structure,

In theory we could do huge player numbers far over 500 players per server...  As such we will surely keep our promise to deliver you the 500 players per server.

We will probably go (far) over it, but that's for later.

the Irish Guard will be set up as such, with 2 platoons initially and i as their captain. Captains still went over the top with their men, i don't believe Colonels quite went up with the initial wave =/

The highest rank (following real world standards) any reg should have (or has had) is Lieutenant/Platoon Size.  In BI I was a Lt and probably for IE I will stay the same (maybe even go lower :) )

Are the grenades going to have a set explosion time or can we cook em? The video nades were pretty slow to blow up, lot of time to run away.

Chances are you wont even see it and even if you do, you usually wont have enough time to run away. That was my experience from Festung Breslau.

And in all honesty being able to run away from them is not a bad thing as looking at the size they exploded from the video it could take a few people out so it makes it not a huge killer when a load off them are thrown

More likely alot of people get knocked over and a few die. Its not the size of the explosion that matters, all explosions in nw are the same size, its the damage that differs...

And throwing them into cover or a trench would pretty much force the enemies there to run for new cover which gives you access to the cover and leaves the enemy exposed. That is great help even if you don't manage to get any kills with it.

How will battles be faught? Will it be done in conquest mode or battle?
