I wonder how often the bayonet will be used in this. I remember thinking the same thing about B&I but it saw it's fair use then.

Yeah, is it possible to code the ability so that bodies soak up bullets even after the player is killed?
I know it might be hard with the engine but you guys (IE team) have proved me wrong several times and I hope it's the case this time.

After recently playing on the WW2_StarWars server on NW, everything seems possible with this game.

I had an idea of that for a mod for NW so that columns would be more effective, I think it's hardcoded since the body animations without ragdoll drop the items in battle from your hands where your hands are on the ground at the end of the animation, but with ragdolls turned on the items go randomly compared to the ragdoll, since the ragdolls land in clientside positions and look different for different people, I presume this would somehow effect the ability for bullets to be soaked up by corpses but I don't know for certain since I don't code.  :P

cRPG does something like this except I don't remember if it did it with crossbow bolts or not. I do remember however that if you hit a body in the ragdoll effect, for a few seconds you could hit it with your sword and the damage would be applied to the ragdoll.
