I do Australian Army Cadets but we dont do anything on Remembrance Day I mean there are ceremony's to remember the fallen but we dont do the parades and what not, they come on ANZAC Day

Us Brits love parades, remembrance day, St Georges Day, I've even known some groups to do St. Patrick/David/Andrew marches aswell.

We did a parade yesterday (Also ATC), I must admit marching all in time to a brass band is something.

Also don't forget Armed Forces Day, we parade on that as well.

Another also what would you consider to be the right side to wear a poppy, in cadets we wear it upon the right side but nearly all civvies wear it on the left.

I find that weird, in ACF it's under our cap badge on the left, you ATC are too weird. ;)

When I was in the ATC we wore ours in our badge caps too, except the nco's, we had nco jackets so we wore ours on our left breast as well as our caps.

On Anzac Day we wear rosemary on the left side of our dpcu shirt near the colour because the war medals are worn on the right (if u have earn t them) Also the Australian National Flag has been approved so now cadets can wear it!

Cap badge? Wow that's weird I have never seen that before. We wear it on our jumpers on the right hand side as it says in AP1358c.
