I've seen it in the past where mods had an invasion game mode...
In the end people would only play the invasion game mode.

In my opinion it will decrease the quality of public play. If I wanted to shoot zombies with guns i'd just play one of the million invasion mods out there.
What would really improve quality is a set of carefully created scene's that are perfect for either battle and TDM. Just so crafted that in TDM you won't get spawnkilled but neither camp the hell out of it.

(Yes I know that WW1 was actually a campfest in the trenches)

Threads  are not meant for "good discussions" their meant for pointless spam. Silly TORN being silly.

On a serious note, maps which don't result in mass spawn killing and such is a good point to make and hopefully KArantukki has some interesting TDM maps for us.  :P

I think that conquest will be mostly used in the mod, since I think the battle was over when someone's trench is taken over and then they move on to the other. I think conquest should do instead of battle. Fixes are needed but it's not impossible.

There's loads of opportunities for different game types for this mod. Battle, Siege, Conquest...

Especially with the Eastern Front, not everything was filled with trenches.
Humans are extremely complicated creatures. Death uncomplicates them to a frightening degree...
