The deaths in WFAS are entirely ragdol and men get knocked flying back when shot.

Yeah, I loved these. Point blank a Ruskij Streltsiy with an Arquebus and he goes flying back 10 feet. Twas' a glorious ragdoll work indeed.

There are quite a few things apart from bug fixing that we are working on.

Sorry about the long wait on the update. Expect one by the weekend. It should be a fairly large one, demonstrating mortars, trenches, and other things.

So mind me asking but how many total units do you plan on having in the mod?
How many bandages will the medic get?
Will officers have the whistle or will a musician like NCO have it?
Will mortars have  a much faster drop and fire time? The NW mortar takes forever to hit land after you fire it.
Will recoil less french artillery be in the game or do you plan on having all the cannons recoil back?

Always excited to see an update. :D Wonder if the shovel idea and the soft destructible / reconstruct-able trenches are still in.

Also, haven't seen any of the uniforms with shovels on the belt. Is that the next thing?

Since Great Britain will become a faction there are a few Regiments that you could use:


Regular Infantry:

The Black Watch
8th Australian Battalion
10th Canadian Battalion
Grenadier Guards
King's Own Scottish Borderers
The Welsh Guards
Connaught Rangers

Light Infantry:
The Rifle Brigade

Machine gun regiments:
Guards Machine Gun Regiment

Yup, just generic classes. "French Poilus," "Deutsches Stosstrupp," etc.

This is a question I've had for a while, will the French get colonial troops class?

I mean, North Africans and Saharan Africans, Madagascans and Vietnamese fought for France, and they had different uniforms then French born troops, different designations also. Tirraleurs, Zouaves, , Goumiers (Though Goumiers didn't fight outside of Africa in WWI, so their addition wouldn't make sense), service in the FFL, and finally the Tonkiese Riflemen (They fought only in Asia, however, so they're in the same situation as the Gourmiers).

I thought it'd be a good idea too add some of colonial units for France, one FFL class (Under specialists?), along with the Senegalese Tirraleurs and the Algerian Zouaves. Germany didn't use their colonial citizens in the War to the same extent of the Brits and French, but I'm guessing there were some East Africans under the Kaiser (Not sure though, I've spent most of my time researching France in WWI, and to a lesser extent Britain).

For the Brits, I'd have the Gurkhas. They fought on the Western front, lost a lot of men there also. Of course I'm just shooting the breeze here, just some ideas I'm putting forward.
