well... what would the point be of gas grenades if there weren't any gas visible?
The more fantastic point that I naively asked for is that the gas would move around a bit before slowly dissipating ;)
In theory we could do huge player numbers far over 500 players per server...  As such we will surely keep our promise to deliver you the 500 players per server.

We will probably go (far) over it, but that's for later.

You could have a shell come in (like a howie round) and when it explodes, gas fills in like yellow smoke and it does bleeding damage, slows your character, and restricts his screen if he doesn't have his mask on.

IMO grenades don't need to have the smoke effect they have in the video. Just a quick blast.

I agree. I saw one of the WWI era stiehlhandgranate used, and it was just a quick blast with minimal residual smoke.

Neither TNT nor Baratol (which is a derivative of TNT) create much smoke (or really any) when exploded. I don't know what was in French grenades, but I assume some form of TNT.

Mostly black powder at the beginning, and cheddite, shneideirite and NTMX.

I think I read somewhere that there were so many British tanks that during the later war period there were more captured British tanks in German service than German made tanks.

Considering that the only German made tank was the A7V and only 20 of them were made, that's not that surprising.

The Germans had produced a grand total of 20 tanks. The British had made a couple thousand. The Germans used roughly 40-50 captured tanks.

So, shouldn't the picture show a British tank running over Germany and Austria, then?
