Was playing this gem again today. Super addictive.

I'm having a bit of faith in the dev team on this mod. Any good tactical play and marksmanship will get you high on the scoreboard as it should be. If sprint and prone are included, it'll only be icing on the cake.

God I love that game :F

Takes me back to my highschool days on free slots. Just played that to pass the time. I also used to play 1066 against my friends. Good times.

It's suppose to feel realistic, but not to the point where it's going to be a pain to play. We should also consider that the mod will most likely be played in conquest mode. That would be the best way to represent WWI warfare. So even if your entire squad gets wiped out, which shouldn't happen if you play it smart, it's not like you'll be sitting around for 20 minutes while surviving members of both sides camp it out.

That's what I like to hear! Realism without the pulling your hair out bits xD Hopefully the maps won't be vast open spaces without craters, tree trunks or destroyed things to hide behind!

In the NW files there's a crouch walking animation.

Yeah when looking in MM Animations I noticed theres a crouch walk animation, a nice cannon firing animation and a better building animation for the sappers but NW completely removed them, I dunno why they looked pretty nice.

Have you played on a trench event on NW? They were using cannons and inaccurate muskets and it was still pretty difficult to get across without being shot or hit by mortars.

Hard to belive that, I find it quite easy to enter enemy trenches with my regiment of 15-20 men on Saturday Blood and Iron Trench event. The team you were playing with must have had a very, very bad day or just a horrible map.

Hmm, I am pretty sure those where part of a OSP so FSE couldn't use them in NW.

No prone yet, sadly it's a tad too hard to implement. I have yet to see a good one in any mod.

No, you're always doing a light jog. Anyone who sprints at that speed should be far away from the battlefield. Sent you a PM Tomahawk.

In theory we could do huge player numbers far over 500 players per server...  As such we will surely keep our promise to deliver you the 500 players per server.

We will probably go (far) over it, but that's for later.

I don't want this mod to try to Call of Dutyize WWI. From what I've seen that's far, that's not going to happen. Realism is usually more fun than "arcade" style.

I mean come on, most people here stand in lines, getting screamed at by officers (Or doing the screaming) waiting to be shot a couple of times and then being murdered to death (Yes, murdered to DEATH) by sharp bayonets. Truth be told NW style line battles aren't that fun either by that logic.
