Note: One round, a good portion of rankers from the 63e were moving around in line looking for muskets while they were shooting the 15thCC, but the outcome of that round still went in favor to the 15thCC (completely forgot to warn, my fault). In a different round, a double OA happened in which Vinago and Karth both went down. Swift was watching the 15thCC line and I watched the 63e line. After Karth went down I looked for Kupkake who OA'd Karth also at the same time Vinago went down. However Swift and I missed the individual who killed Vinago, and I wasn't able to judge whether Vinago was behind, in line or not, because I was looking at the leaderboard for Kupkake. However, I offered the 15thCC a reset for the missed call, but they declined. Overall clean match.

Yeah that was me who hit Vinago, I was in a bush and couldn't really make out what people I was shooting at, my bad.

We don't need to try to argue our point. We'll just let people complain that we are running a monopoly on siege and choking the life of the community by getting youtubers to promote the game (which by having them promote it through our evebts means that it is promoted for us too) even though other regiment leaders and community members could have always gone out and established their own siege, got it populated with their own members, and eventually built it into a server pubs liked to play on, created their own rules on recruiting and gotten a bunch of recruits themselves... and they could have attempted to get a youtuber to come to their regiment too... We don't need to argue the point as to why we get more people coming to our regiment and have higher attendance in our companies then some people get in their regiments as a whole...

That's where I think you might be wrong. I wouldn't say that a large majority of the populace of this game just assume that "NW fairies will magically make it happen." There are people trying to improve things. People who try to make competitive more interesting and available to more regiments.

However, as is the case with most issues, everyone loves paying attention to those who cause scenes, or just straight out try to argue for little reason. I'd say the competitive side has made some great progress and also little progress in some areas from where it was in the past. The thing is; who is gonna pay attention to someone calmly stating their opinion and having a logical debate/discussion about something they (or a majority of people) see as an issue when there is another person posting rants and shit-posting about the "unfairness" of something that happened?

I've seen plenty of people actually trying to make legitimate progress on the NANWL thread but who have gotten drowned out through shit-posting about someone not liking one of the rules and deciding to complain about it after the majority of the league is over with. Some people stopped trying to discuss the things they wanted to bring up in a reasonable manner, but there are also those who took at different route and started contacting the moderators, in example SintraBean, on steam with issues they wanted to discuss, or they would talk to him on team speak.

The competitive scene isn't perfect.... but I think with some of the people who are really working to make it better, they are getting somewhere.

GrdV (Garde Veteran) - Minimum 3 events a week. Actively practices melee. Minimum 3 Months as Guard and comes 2nd/3rd in GrdP competition.

I believe this is the requirement for GrdV.
