Surprise release tomorrow (because of the Iron Europe event?)

I'm afraid not. We wouldn't want another buggy release day would we. :P

So any remote criticism on iron europe instantly means its betty?

I think what he means is that we are putting a lot of effort into the mod but have a very small team of only a few selected people. These people are also doing many other mods and games at the same time! I myself am making several maps for several games. It's often stressful to work on new features never tried by Warband mods before without the faith of the community behind you. I know that without people still playing this and hosting events I wouldn't have the passion to want to make these people more stuff so they can enjoy their events more.

Along with this your criticism may have been seen as an insult. This is because we are receiving many complaints that we need to work faster and when we reply to them that the mod is just not ready yet they insult us and often use harsh langue rather than constructive criticism. This is a problem we ran in with before the mod was out in this form. We felt pushed to drive the mod out but now we want to ignore this and bring it out when we feel it is ready for testing so we can fix any more bugs if there are any.

Also, as someone who can only gain and has absolutely nothing to lose from our unpaid work you have no right to tell us what info to release and when we release it. The fact that we announced an update months before we release it has no impact on your life whatsoever. This is especially true for you since you didn't even notice the video and image we released a week ago, which goes to show that you really don't care.

I think we need to calm down now. The guy pretty much seems like a troll with that comment.

Like we don't mind people contributing and making suggestion or supporting us (maybe even moaning a little is allowed :P ) but please can everyone remember that we are not a company and everything we do is from the goodness of our hearts for you guys. If you end up not liking the game or don't like the current game then we are sorry but please don't start insulting us because it wasn't what YOU wanted. Again, we don't mind criticism by telling us that stuff is wrong, or we need to fix blah blah, because this all helps us improve the game. However, we do not take kindly to just insulting us or telling us you don't like member who work on the game.

So are you making a very generic Tommie skin or are you going to add a wee bit of detail and make it a regimental uniform?
