I don't know yet, when mod will be ready. If I will work with the same speed, maybe I can finish re-skin part before New Year, but making standalone mod with singleplayer can take few years of hard work.

100% keep going with this, this looks like a great mod which I'm sure loads will try out and support, love the depth and detail, my only word of advice is try out as many other mods and games as you can and read responses to aspects of those games and try see what you can offer what others can't. Apart form that, keep at it, your doing great!!!

Excellent work. I am going to have endless hours of fun charging into a valley with Guns on three sides and regiments of Russian Cossacks and Uhlans at the other end!
I was just wondering with bugle calls, will you keep the default ones from regular Napoleonic? Of course British,French and Ottoman bugle calls are very different and as they are one faction in the mod I suppose you would have to keep it limited. I do not know much about Russian bugle calls unfortunately.

I will make bugle calls as historical as possible (depends on how much informations I'll find), I think I'll make them in some programm, which can play sounds from sheet music, like Guitar Pro or another programm :)
I didn't search yet for bugle, flute and drum calls of Allies (and didn't think yet how to make different calls in same faction, it's a diffcult question). I found bugle call of Light Brigade, recorded in 1890, though. https://archive.org/details/EDIS-SWDPC-01-04
For Russians it is much easier, there is sheet music of all infantry calls and marches of 1848, and maybe all of them are already in NW.

There are a few recordings on YouTube of British Bugle calls:

They were taken from the 1960's official guidelines on bugle calls but seeing as though we haven't really used them in battle since the Great War I doubt they have changed much since the days of Wellington. They seem pretty much the same as the ones my Napoleonic re-enactment group plays, I will have to have a word with our bugler.
I hope the above video is helpful, of course most of the calls aren't necessary (I doubt the bugler would want to call for 'officers to dress for dinner' in the middle of a battle) nor is there the bugle call for 'the charge' (again, from the 1960's so they wouldn't need the charge call). These are for the infantry of course, the cavalry are different. Here are some for the cavalry:

Of course there are plenty of films set in the Victorian era where you can hear them being played (The Charge of the Light Brigade, 1964 is of particular note).

As for the French I haven't a clue. I do not really know any French re-enactors who do that era. Again, I doubt they had changed much from Napoleons army.

Thanks, but I think I'll search for sheet music of 19th sentury, I think calls changed 'till 1960's (It will be like using soviet bugle calls in Russian cavalry), calls I don't find I'll use from NW, I doubt calls and marches changed a lot in 40 years between Napoleonic wars and Crimean war, but I'll search first :)

I have a little trust in films, because most of them don't bother to show historical bugle calls, Charge of Light Brigade is nice film though, with almost historical uniforms, so maybe they used right calls, but I must first earch them myself:)

I will have to have a word with our bugler.

I will appreciate that, thanks!

I know a lot of reenactors of French army of Crimean war, so maybe I'll ask them, if they know something about bugle and drum calls of that time.
