Soooo..If someone wants to make,lets say,6th infantry regiment,would he write 6pkp? Makes no sense at all lol.
Just look at my signature-Pułk stands for REGIMENT,Kirasjerów means CUIRASSIERS-P stands for REGIMENT,K for Cuirassiers.

I have just checked your link. There's a good list of regiments but I'm unable to find pk shortout as pułk. There are only full names like:

Pułk 1-szy Piechoty (1st Infantry Regiment)
Pułk 2-gi Piechoty
Pułk 3-ci Piechoty
Pułk 4-ty Piechoty
Pułk 5-ty Piechoty (former Legion du Nord)
Pułk 6-ty Piechoty
...

You can check this topic for example:

As you can see - they have 4pp tag which means 4 Pułk Piechoty - 4th Infantry Regiment.
