I think you make the mistake of assuming that just because 2 regiments disbanded like someone does every other season under Bever's rule it will be the same in sense that nobody will be relegated.
The way Brot is doing it now, where if somebody disbands they get banned from NWL and there is still atleast 1 relegation make the league system much better. Regardless if someone disbanded you still placed bottom anyway.

It gives the organisers and the regiments in question time to establish an understanding of each other. There is a certain stigma attached to lower leagues, namely League 3, but I feel this is unnecessary. Regardless of what league you are in this is still the most competitive and highly respected tournament in NW, meaning that all the leagues provide a high level of quality and competitive play.I didn't mean to start a debate, i was just correcting a few mistakes about our history :-\

Last regiments for League 1 and 2 are accepted and marked in green. The other regiments can join into the 3rd league and compete against each other, this will be organized by Herishey.Regiments not accepted into league 1 & 2 if you still wish to partake in NWL in the third league please add me on Steam and we will discuss.

Can the organisers clarify rule 15. specifically how this rule will be enforced and what the consequences are. Members of regiments who only turn up for NWL are still members of a regiment. Someone may simply enjoy the competitive environment or have a schedule that only fits to certain times when a regiment plays their NWL games. We can't cut them out because of this. If a football player only plays for his team in champions league games, should he be banned from playing these games until he plays more time in his domestic league? Of course not. It's too harsh to force someone to turn up for more events than they might be willing to in an amateur league. By all means, keep the no invites rule as it is fair, keeps competitive integrity and is a lot easier to enforce with beginning of season player registration, if the organizers wished (although registration is unneeded since everyone knows everyone tbh and what regiment they are in).I used to only play on Sundays which is usually NWL just due to the fact it was the only day I had time before when I started full time work among other new shit so I agree with what you say tbh.

Invites =/= Reserves, give the old and the inactive members the dignity of being able to contribute to their regiments.

Ultimately it would simply be too difficult and impractical to determine what is a valid reason or not

A season or two back we had personal experience with this, allowing stark and herishey in the 33rd we thought great, two good players to join our community. however after attending 1 or 2 normal events they wished to be in reserves and only play in NWL, not even interacting with our members outside of these matches. We (myself and st3fan) decided that we would rather lose fairly as the 33rd than win with fake members which is why I am very glad to see this rule. It may be hard to enforce but it at least adds a moral code for regiments.

59th agrees with this statement completely. Guess thats why regiments like ours last years. Community over hoppers. It seems regiments that feed of NWL invites disband fairly quickly.

15th YR guy charged the K-KA line during both shot at each other, they guy came into melee with K-KA but 15thYr and K-KA didn't stop shooting, slay was not possible cause they guy died shortly after he came into melee, 15thYR won the round and I reset cause of FiC by 15thYR, if K-KA would've won there would've been a reset too because of massive FiC made by both sides. Personally I would prefer a video which can prove my point, or would prove me wrong.

From my point of view, and most of the 15th member's (Those who were on the left flank with me, I guess), Tim didn't yolo charge.
All I heard was Connimir saying "What the fuck was that ?", complaining about getting shot (not killed) while being the leading officer.
We then charged together, and won the melee harshly, since we were outnumbered by 4 or 5, can't remember exactly.
After this melee, ofcourse, some K-KA trollish members though it would be an epic jock to say "RESET!1!1!1" in chat, since it was them who FiC'd.
Then, we saw that purple chat saying "Round reset cuz FiC by 15thYR" and everyone on both sides was obviously very surprised, according to the flood of "LOL", "LMAO", "xdxd" from the K-KA members. I even noticed someone (I think it was Bashy) saying "It really hurts my feelings guys", like if he was fakely feeling guilty about stealing this round from us.
On our side, noeone even understood why the round was reseted, since we didn't directly FiC'd.
So, our conclusion ? Templar wasn't actually paying attention to this round and when he saw all those K-KAs screaming for a reset, he just naively though "If they act like this, it must be legit, no ? Man, they wouldn't lie about that, would they?", and hazardously reseted the round.
That's what me and a few others though. Some of you may think that I'm taking this too seriously, but we lost this match kind of because of this round.
None of us was willing to keep fighting after such an injustice. We showed amazing melee skills (and also terrible shooting) during this match, pulling back some rounds in wich we were overwhelmingly outnumbered (not necessarly winning them, though). All for nothing, since we all wanted to leave ASAP after this round. We didn't even pay attention to the score anymore.
I later discussed about this with Connimir, and it appeared that Tim actually did yolo charge while we were still in line. I don't know if Conni saw it by himself or if he was just repeating what Templar probably told him, but that is not the issue.

If a referee cannot deal with it there and then he isn't really fit to be reffingA referee is also just a normal person, watching 30 man charging at each other it's normal that you cant act instantly. Also, one may have done FiC and before you can slay him he already got killed - that shouldn't free him from the guilt.
Quick point about FiC, as throughout this season I have seen different refs enforcing it differently.I have seen referees do this as well, I talked to any I saw but I think people are too used to the way it was done last season in that retrospect. In relation to how it is implemented I think the way Brot wants the rule to be implemented is correct and referees just need to be reminded of this process.
In the thread opening post under ref FAQ for fic:SpoilerFirst, you do nothing special. You note the name and watch how the round ends. Did the FIC change the outcome of the round? E.g. victim lost 2 men because of FiC and lost in a close charge - in this case, round has to be redone. E.g. FIC where the rule breaker already had 10 men advantage after shootout - in this case, you slay the respective person FiCing in the next round. Of course the regiment may not swap him out. If he does anyways, just slay any other ranker. In the end, the rule breaking regiment has to play at a disadvantage next round.[close]
Half the refs (This may be an exaggeration but it is at least several judging by peoples vids) slay instantly for FiC which breaks this guideline (I believe this rule may have changed from previous seasons without some refs realising!), others slay that person in the next round and I almost never see a round redone, regiments just having to live with the round loss and a fic warning.
I post this in the hope that more consistency can be achieved across all refs, whatever rules/guidelines the organizers choose :)
p.s - as an example last season when I was a ref, I would warn the reg about FiC once, then slay fic'er in the next round if I didn't judge the kill to affect the outcome (otherwise a reset would be required). In my experience it worked as a better deterrent than a 50/50 chance of either an instant slay or a warning which happens with some admins still. Again I'm not trying to point anyone out, simply hoping that we can have greater consistency between refs.

In the last days we found out that some of the regimental referees were playing for their regiment while refing. This is not what we intend with this rule. When one of the regimental members is chosen as referee since no other is available he is of course not allowed to play for his regiment. He has to be in spec like any other referee would be as well.It is still happening, despite this warning.
