Your work is impressive Garrel, however I couldn't help but notice how closely similar this:

is to this:

Yes, I took the rank system bit, as I had no frame of mind to make one, and as it was requested so late, I kinda used everything I could find/use.

However, I'll be changing a few things as I have other ideas in mind.

Garrel

I have asked you to use other things and not to make things like I do. You said through several PMs, yeah sorry mate I will change it. Now I come to this thread looking again and what do I see? Again stuff that looks really much the same as I do. In those templates you have on your main OP, you even used a lot of thread images I put on my threads I made in the past. It really is beginning to frustrate.. not beginning it is already very frustrating me to see that an other guy who clearly makes the things that I make, like those titles in that bar, and stealing pictures of my old thread is getting the joy of people saying hey well made!

I put hours and hours work into this and some guy gets the cheering and joy. At first I was tolerant, but now I won't be anymore. I suggest you to change it NOW, and do something else that doesn't look the same as my work. This is really pathetic.

That's funny. You said that the last time.

Not ignoring, I've changed on what had to be changed, and leaving the situation behind in the past as of I don't need to go over it.

Your work is good as I mentioned before but mate, its still really similar to Niphix's style. If you claim to put all that in the past then do something COMPLETELY new and different.

Introduction to the 82nd Regiment of Foot

The 82nd Regiment of Foot is accepting any player, ranging from inexperienced to experienced. As long as you have Teamspeak installed, we accept individuals above the age of 15. Enlisting will mean various things. Firstly, all new members will receive the rank of Recruit. After attending actively for one week of events and our officers have seen you firmly grasp commands, you will be promoted to Private. Once promoted to Private, it will be entirely up to you to prove yourself worth of climbing the ranks. We expect our members to be able to attend actively for our events. The Regiment will have absent posts for members to go on and let officers know they won't be able to attend. This is to ensure the officers are promoting the active members. Overall, enlisting in the 82nd will guarantee you the feeling of authenticity and hopefully, a pleasant time!

History of the 82nd (Prince of Wales' Volunteers) Regiment of Foot

This regiment was raised in 1793 during the French Revolutionary Wars (1792-1802) by Major-General Charles Leigh. Leigh was part of the Prince of Wales’s entourage, which led to the regiment using the Prince’s badge and motto and the title ‘Prince of Wales’s Volunteers’. Two years after formation it was given the numeral 82 and moved to Gibraltar. That same year it helped seize the French colony of Saint-Domingue (now Haiti) in the West Indies.

There it faced a French force, a rebel slave army and deadly disease. By 1798 it had lost so many men that it had to return to Britain for two years. In 1800 it had recovered sufficiently to join the British force sent to support the abortive French Royalist landings on the French mainland at Quiberon Bay.

Briefly posted to Minorca for a year in 1801 and then to Ireland for five years in 1802, the regiment saw action again at Copenhagen in 1807. In the meantime, in 1804, the unit had raised a 2nd Battalion. This served as the regiment’s depot battalion and never left England before its disbandment in December 1815.

The 1st Battalion was sent to Portugal in 1808, fighting in the Peninsular War (1807-14) at Rolica (1808), Vimeiro (1808) and Corunna (1808). It then joined the Walcheren expedition to Holland the following year.

After a brief posting to Gibraltar, the regiment returned to the Peninsula in 1810, fighting at Barossa (1811), Tarifa (1811), Burgos (1812) and Vitoria (1813), and gaining a special commendation from Wellington for its conduct during the Pass of Maya action in 1813. By April 1814 it had fought its way into southern France.

Later that year it was sent to Canada for the closing stages of the War of 1812 (1812-15) against America, fighting at Niagara (1814). The regiment only embarked for Britain on 28 June 1815, ten days after Waterloo, but it did spent the rest of that year as part of the Army of Occupation in Paris.

It then sailed to Dover in January 1816, where it was immediately re-routed to Ireland. En route, the regiment lost 160 officers and men and 27 women and children in a shipwreck off the coast of Kinsale. It moved to Mauritius in 1819 for 12 years and, after six years back in England and Ireland, it was posted to Gibraltar. The 1840s saw it garrisoning the West Indies and Canada.

In 1855 it took part in the Crimean War (1854-56) where it briefly served at Sevastopol. The regiment was at Singapore when the Indian Mutiny (1857-59) began and it was sent to Calcutta (now Kolkata) before going on to take part in the second Relief of Lucknow (1857).

The 82nd left India in 1869, spending a year in Aden before landing in England in February 1870. It spent five more years in Ireland from 1875, but otherwise remained in England until 1881, when it amalgamated with the 40th (the 2nd Somersetshire) Regiment of Foot to form The Prince of Wales’s Volunteers (South Lancashire Regiment).
