Click to Open Mikey at 1st Overall - Initially this pick shocked me seeing as how both Cwater and Jaax were on the board. Whilst Mikey has cemented himself as a T1 player, him getting drafted #1 overall was not something I had in my bingo card.
Riot at 31st Pick - Despite Riot being a decent EU meleer, most of my mock drafts had him falling farther. Expected VHA or maybe Levis to be picked in this spot and was proven wrong. The mechanic heavy EU side should raise his skill floor quite a bit.
Despite the surprises this team should do very well. The LG trio of RussianFury Wastee and Theodin paired with Mikey's T1 status makes this team very top heavy. Evan Noob and Artanis should provide a solid center whilst Riot Spoon and Hunteh are decent substitutes. Remains to be seen what Seacats has to offer to the team.

Click to Open Alexander at 17th Pick - Seeing as how most of my mock drafts had Cwater going #1 overall, most of my picks at this spot had either Antidote or VLAD going in them.
Wolfe at 22nd Pick - Even though Wolfe's attendance is being called into question, I was genuinely surprised that he fell to me at this spot. Most of my mocks had him going in the 3rd or 4th rounds after a great L2 performance in the last draft league.
Kristine at 37th Pick - Despite Kristine's past, my mocks had him going in the 5th or 6th rounds. His tutelage under Anthony on both EU and NA gives him a solid groundwork for mechanics.
There is a good amount of synergy to be taken note of from my team. Myself Vertildr Alexander and Truth all have tons of experience playing side by side in the 21st whilst many previous draft teams have also featured Cwater being paired with at least one of us at some point or another. BabyJ is a strong round 2 player with Wolfe being crowned the #1 L2 player last season. The trio of Truth Pedro and Kristine should provide a solid underbelly, and it remains to be seen whether CLOUD or Paddington can fully transfer their HF skills over to NW or not.

Click to Open Heath at 28th Pick - Whilst I always had Heath getting mocked to this team, it was a bit of a surprise to see him picked over players like Iodine Pedro Levis and Suns. Despite his experience in the 93rd this turns out to be Heath's first ever draft league on NA NW. Should be an interesting player to keep an eye on. Expected Kristine or Suns in his place.
Levis at 33rd Pick - Most of my mocks had Levis going in the 7th round so no difference there. Regardless, did not expect him to be drafted to this team since Piktonss seemed to be leaning heavily towards a 93rd squad. As a result I had Suns going at this position instead. Wouldn't have been surprised if Kristine went here either.
This is another team that I would consider to be pretty top heavy. Despite having some rust Yoshie and VetroG in their primes were round 1 picks without a doubt with Piktonss hovering between round 1 and 2. We'll see if these three players are able to return to form as the season goes on. James NickCole and Movement should have some pretty good synergy going with Heath Levis and Cow being reliable players to count on. GTA and Drama have spent most of their time playing competitive in other games like HF or BL so we'll see if it transfers over.

Click to Open Godfreid at 14th Pick - Whilst my mocks had Godfreid going in round 3, I did not expect Yoloswag to pick him up. Instead my mocks had players like Soulja or VLAD here with Godfreid already off the board.
Suns at 38th Pick - To put it mildly, Godfreid and Suns have a pretty colorful history. Having these two on the same team as one another may very well cause problems with vibes and synergy. Expected VHA Hunteh or Cow to be picked here instead.
Out of all the teams I would say this one is the biggest question mark. On paper this team has the potential to do well with Yoloswag and Jaax being round 1 picks whilst Svenypoo and Godfreid provide good stability. Magmar Glenn and Iodine are a solid underbelly while Fittens Gray and Mazir round out the team. The question is will Yoloswag be forced to play Suns? Or will Suns be traded elsewhere to get a player who is less rusty?

Click to Open Soulja at 10th Pick - My mocks did not see Soulja going anywhere near the 2nd round, always being placed in the lower 3rd or upper 4th rounds. Even though Soulja is a decent player I had Wastee or James going in this spot instead.
VHA at 40th Pick - I was shocked that VHA fell as far as this with my mocks showing him going in the lower 5th or upper 6th rounds. The man has plenty of holdfast experience and trained under Mikey's GVTjr regime. Real steal in the 7th round imo.
Despite this being a straight draft this team has the potential to go far. Horse Risk and Soulja as the top cast have good synergy and should perform well together with VLAD Antidote and Jerry providing the solid heart of the team. Shinto VHA and Amy round out the team with their own unique expertise and Hotspot may very well see more playing time to redeem his L2 performance last season.
