The Infanterie-Regiment Erzherzog Rudolf Nr. 14 is a regiment of line infantry and artillery based in North America, formed on September 1, 2012.

It's high time to have some more Austrian regiments in the mix. We are disciplined and professional in battle, but loosen up outside of it. Above all, we will maintain a high level of proper respect towards other regiments, only matched by the comradery within the unit.

Commissioned Officers
Hauptmann (Hptm):
First-in-command to lead the line, the Hauptmann leads the company.

Oberleutnant (Oblt):
Second-in-command who takes the Hauptmann's position on the field in the case that the Hauptmann is killed. May schedule events and communicate with other regiments.

Unterleutnant (Unlt):
Third-in-command who takes the Oberleutnant's position on the field in the case that the Oberleutnant is killed. May also schedule events and communicate with other regiments in the absence of the Oberleutnant.


Fähnrich (Fr):
Junior officer who carries our banner.


Non-Commissioned Officers
Feldwebel (Fwbl):
Non-commissioned officer who helps the officers with select duties, such as keeping discipline in the ranks during trainings and is also fourth-in-command.

Zugsführer (Zgf):
A non-commissioned officer who has had some experience with leading and is also fifth-in-command.

Korporal (Kpl):
A starting rank for leadership and is also sixth-in-command.

Rankers
Furier (Fur):
For rankers who have distinguished themselves on the battlefield. These men are an example for all rankers.

Furier-Schütze (Fsch):
For rankers who go above and beyond, executing orders swiftly and without question while obeying PTS.

Gefreiter (Gfr):
For rankers who regularly attend events and can follow orders with the utmost of respect and discipline.

Gemeiner (Gmr):
A rank for anyone from recruits to veterans.

Mercenaries
Freiwilliger (Fwr):
A rank for anyone mercing with the Nr. 14. Mercing is always a great idea, to see how a regiment is before joining.

Regimental Rules:

The following are the rules that every member is expected to abide by:

-You must be older than 16 years of age, or demonstrate an acceptable level of maturity to be in the Nr. 14.

-Do not insult members in the regiment or in other regiments. We do not tolerate discrimination on race, nor sexual orientation.

-Do not disrespect any opponent.

-Follow the orders of the highest ranking person present. Do not question their authority or decisions.

-Attendance is key, but no longer required.

-Do not take the rules into your own hands: this means it is forbidden to teamkill someone breaking the rules (unless otherwise instructed).

-Never, never break a public server's rules intentionally.

-Trolling is absolutely forbidden, including in teamspeaks.

-Wear your tags in public servers! Visibility helps, and the more people we get the merrier!

-Observe PTS when it's in session, and basic etiquette when it isn't.

1734 - A regiment is raised by Nicolaus Leopold von Salm. The regiment is therefore known as the Salm Regiment.
1735 - The regiment serves on the Rhine during the War of Polish Succession. It does not see combat.
1739 - Austro-Turkish War of 1737–1739: Regiment's baptism of fire at the Siege of Belgrade (1739)

1740–48 - War of Austrian Succession

1743 - Battle of Dettingen (1743); Allied Austrian-British victory.
1746 - Battle on the Saar
1747 Battles of Lauffeldt and Bergen op Zoom; defeat against the French

1756-63 - Seven Years' War

1756 - March into Bohemia
1757 - Battles of Kolin and Moys; Austrian victories
1758 - Skirmish at Zwittau; Austrian retreat
1759 - Skirmish at Saalfeld, part of the Austrian rearguard from Haslau to Eger
