Sample size is important, you’re right. Which is why it’s too early to call NiP a bad team seeing as though they’ve only played six lans.

6 Months, 6 Lans(Excluding Valencia, low tier lan) : Played shit at four, average at one (Won a series against Na'Vi that played with Seized #Shit), played good at one.
Okay then if we discount Valencia then we have five premier lans. One round of 8, one semi and a title isn’t bad considering the teams that attended. They’re struggling for consistency at the minute, sure. But so are teams like Astralis and yet that doesn’t make them a bad side.

What?
What do you mean, what?

I think you have a case of victimizing NiP whilst being blind to the facts. Astralis (With Device) have had bad form that has been catalyzed by Device being ill. No one disagrees with that.

Blind to the facts? I've just stated the facts that they've had a good number of half decent results in the tournaments that they've played. I'm not victimizing them at all. Sometimes they do play like utter shite, but generalising them as a completely bad team just ignores the successes that they have had. If anything that's ignoring facts.

Even before Device became ill Astralis didn't have the form of world beaters. Post Krakow major they've played five complete events with Device and in three of those they've failed to make the top four. For Astralis that is poor form. Doesn't make them a bad team though.

Let me make this easy for you : Shit, Average, Good.

NiP is borderline average. On the lower end of average.

Lmfao literally didn’t back that statement up with enough evidence so you tried to mask it by “making it easy” for me. They’re ranked fourth best in the world on HLTV. What team below them would you think deserves to be higher than them based on results?

Do you honestly think that HLTV"s rankings are credible? You didn't understand my post.

As credible as any, yes. But if we go for an opinion based argument. Are any team below NiP deserving of their spot in the rankings based off results?

HLTV is as legit as it gets tbh.

And how about Misfits doe? Really turning up for this event! Sean the NA bae is back and the french duo looking good. Really hope Misfits can pull off a miracle and win this!

I don't think Misfit can really win this, at best they win defeat Hellraiser but even though I believe they can avoid getting stomped by SK, I don't see them winning that semi. Hope to be wrong though, I will be rooting for them tonight!
Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often.

I mean I only watched map one but it wasn’t great. They don’t seem to be able to close out their game at times.

Super happy for the boys, I don't expect much against SK tbf but I'd love to be surprised. Let’s see how much Murica and France combined can make the Brazilians sweat.
