"Belgian Troubles"
Europe continues to burn. War torn villages, corpses piling up, the stench of war and death hovering over Europe like a cloud.
Belgium has been particularly hit hard by war. After becoming a battlefield for France and Germany, Belgium has a plethora of problems. Dead civilians, discontent, destruction from war, war crimes, hunger, occupation, and more. The Flemish north is free and independent while the Wallonian south remains under German occupation. Discontent is high in Belgium, and it has finally reached its breaking point. The Netherlands, Belgium's northern neighbor, has fallen to the grip of Communism! Already next to Communist France, the birth of Communist Netherlands is too much for Belgium to handle. Already, protests and riots spring up in Antwerp and Brussels, while one of Belgium's northernmost border provinces has already fallen to Communist rebels! If Belgium does not regain control of the population soon, they may find themselves in the midst of a civil war!
Meanwhile in Germany, the birth of Communist Netherlands has also spelled doom for Germany. Communist rebels have also occupied one of the Dutch border provinces, while Communists in Germany's innermost cities are now fired up. Protests occur daily, with riots breaking our and clashes with police claiming many lives. Further south in Bavaria and Wurtemberg, rebels and protesters have also seized control of a province. Rebels in Bavaria are reported to be quite tenacious.
Where discontent goes, Communism appears to follow. If the Domino theory holds true, then there is nothing that will be able to stop Communism from taking over all of Europe.
