I don't know about bringing in the Brunswickers. Their uniform is virtually the same as the Freikorp on Prussia right?

Not at all. The Schwarze Schar wore black trousers with a black dolman and a black pelisse lined and face in black, with a black kiwer-like tschako with a black tassel on the tschako, with black shoes, black socks, black shirts, black, black, black, black... and, had baby blue collar and rank epaulettes. :P

Betaknight and I made a good Black Brunswicker retexture for the Coldstream Guards, there were problems replacing the KGL infantry.

The KGL blue-retexture looks more like a Belgic Militiaman, in my opinion. Was that the purpose of the retexture?

I think that re-texture was originally made to turn them into a unit of Belgian Fusiliers in British service, like those guys in NTW.

It's just plain ugly... as well as unhistorical (blue KGL?).

I say ditch them.

All they need is a rename.

They could be replaced with the Schwarze Schar (Black Brunswickers), that would make a nice addition to the British army...

Furthermore, what do people think about replacing the British Post Captain with a Royal Marine Officer?

Personally, I'd rather the Captains stay as they seem pretty dashing and have their own flavour. Also, I think one of the Austrian Dragoon regiments needs shaking up slightly.

And if you can somehow replace the KGL with the Brunswickers that'd be great.

I remembered that skin, that's why I mentioned it. I managed to separate all of the British trousers from the French and Russian ones, and now the Brunswickers replace the KGL, flag, officer, and all!

god damn, Anthony is smart, he was able to get the shit AEF to tie with the best reg in the game. The tactical geniusness needed to pull off such a feat is insane. He's the Erwin Rommel of NW.

In this topic there's a tutorial how to use brf's for uniforms.
It's a lot easier to copy paste stuff between open OpenBRF windows, that way you'll avoid making any mistakes when importing (and it's just so much quicker).

1. First place the textures in the texture folder, then copy the trews' mesh in the Brit uniforms brf, rename the meshes with the same name as the kilt, and delete the kilt and all the lods for it.
2. Now open Attila's materials and copy paste his materials for the trews into your mmmaterials brf (this way you don't need to worry about names, shaders, normals, and specs), save and open the textures brf and choose "import textures" and find the textures for the trews in your textures folder.
3. Save all of your hard work, head back to Brit uniforms and make sure that the trews are working.
4. You're almost done now! Lastly, create the lods by right clicking on the trews mesh and "generate lods" (so that the legs don't disappear from a certain distance).

Job done and done  ;)

A guy named Toby had a regiment that was Belgic something so he asked me to retexture the KGL to that, the hats looked similar from the KGL to the Belgic regiment so I think thats why he asked me to do it for KGL.
