Verdun Game

The developers of Verdun game have released a open beta.

Everybody can join. It runs in a browser so no download.

The problem is not alot of people play it. Even though their only server can handle about 85 players, there are hardly any people online.

With this thread I would like to introduce you to this game and start enjoying it. It still has bugs *ofcourse* but is great fun and I recommend it to anyone.

Here it is!

There are very few players indeed, but the Dev's (I believe) are proactively going around trying to round people up for a few games. It wasn't working very well yesterday, failed to start games etc.

But it looks very promising.

So, I just played the game. Honestly? It's really not all that bad. I know it's a small time game, that may only get small time fame (Rhyme not intended), it obviously needs a lot of work. And, it should have a download version. The browser causes lag and issues. Surprisingly enough, I won every round of FFA that I played (Played 10 rounds). I just camped like hell... Shot whoever, done. Win.

Just tried this myself, doesn't run too well and the squads are a bit dodgy, game can easily get lopsided also. Bayonets can basically lock onto people like it's CoD if you're looking at the enemy and you're right in front of them. It's an alright game to try out, has ranks and stuff though so I don't know how that will work out.
