Company of Heroes 2

Hey,

Made this topic because it was recently released, first I was like yaaay because the game looks epic, but then I saw the amount of DLC...

Ok I will just buy the normal version even though the amount of DLC allready been brought out is horrendous.
But then I saw this (probably a bug, but still): EDIT : This is fixed now, regular game costs 50€

To be honest, I really like the CoH series but the DLC techniques that SEGA is using are shady, money grubbing and bad for the customer (or at least bad for the wallet lol).
I really hope that Total War: Rome 2 will not be flooded with DLC.

I'm probably becoming an old whiny bastard but expansion packs used to be almost totally seperate games, now expansion packs are a bunch of cosmetics and costumes that sometimes all combined cost more then the actual game itself ...

Look at the Napoleonic Wars DLC, at least that is a true expansion pack: It provides new maps, modes, music, experiences etc... and costs less then Mount and Blade, thats how expansion packs should be made and not the SEGA way (or any other company that uses this dreadful method).

Anyway, that is just my opinion, what is your opinion?

The DLC doctrines are a shitty mistake, that's what take's from the game. Other than that, I don't care for camo.

Haven't gotten it myself, I'm certain I will play majority for campaigns and with friends later.

I found the beta to be rather dull. In my opinion, Men of War is far superior.

Aye, Men of War takes the cake for WW2 strategy games.
In theory we could do huge player numbers far over 500 players per server...  As such we will surely keep our promise to deliver you the 500 players per server.

We will probably go (far) over it, but that's for later.

I'm going to go ahead and blame relic for the crappy DLC in this case.
The 8th is not dead! Proud Colonel of the WWI and Blood and Iron/Verdun regiment 84th Infantrie d'regiment [both are recruiting. Add calicoyoda on Steam if you want to join either]
