Hey,
Made this topic because it was recently released, first I was like yaaay because the game looks epic, but then I saw the amount of DLC...
Ok I will just buy the normal version even though the amount of DLC allready been brought out is horrendous.
But then I saw this (probably a bug, but still): EDIT : This is fixed now, regular game costs 50€
To be honest, I really like the CoH series but the DLC techniques that SEGA is using are shady, money grubbing and bad for the customer (or at least bad for the wallet lol).
I really hope that Total War: Rome 2 will not be flooded with DLC.
I'm probably becoming an old whiny bastard but expansion packs used to be almost totally seperate games, now expansion packs are a bunch of cosmetics and costumes that sometimes all combined cost more then the actual game itself ...
Look at the Napoleonic Wars DLC, at least that is a true expansion pack: It provides new maps, modes, music, experiences etc... and costs less then Mount and Blade, thats how expansion packs should be made and not the SEGA way (or any other company that uses this dreadful method).
Anyway, that is just my opinion, what is your opinion?
