I thought Aless would have told you but upon discussion with the regimental leaders from the 6e, 1er, 8th & 2Lr, they told us that they would prefer delaying the tournament for a little while, until early March. Only Erik (4e) still had a preference to start in January but given the majority was in favour of a delay, the tournament organizers decided to go with it. Worth noting that Fidje (Nr15) also mentioned to me the chances of them partaking in a competitive event around March would be much higher (they felt too rusty to partake in January). Doesn't mean they will necessarily be willing to attend comes March, but it also was considered by the administration when making the decision to delay the tournament.
I didn't bother posting anything here and I probably should have, but given every single regimental member of the Hussar Cups were informed of that decision, I assumed they would tell their own members. Consider this an 'official' statement from us, the Hussar Cup is still very much happening but to a later date somewhere around March. To keep you guys interested, Skittles will be trying to host a Fantasy League, likely over February.
