Great team, great underdog franchise, have had some great players, teams, and rivalries since the 60s and before it. Any of the original six hockey teams that started the league should be well respected and even if they haven't won any stanley cups that ain't a reason to hate em' even if they've struggled. Plus you should be rooting for the Leafs if you live in Ontario like a good man.

Nope, nope, and well yea. But to deny that they’ve been terrible - a joke - since the 60s is to deny reality. And in fact I don’t need to follow some tired notion of following my home teams, especially not one as catastrophically tragic as the leafs.
For their history and integration in Canadian society they get my respect but for the on ice results they are a j o k e
