I'm not saying not use 2 leagues. But instead have a mix of regiments in each league so that winning either league is respectable. Instead of league 2 being the league for baddies.

I would prefer a pro league and a semi-pro league. The mods will choose the leagues and have been observing 1v1s when they can. Amit actually asked Jakester to 1v1 the LG to see what league the 41st should be in.

Presumably the people running the league decide who is in what league, hence why they run the league.

We are not determining who is bad and who is good. We are trying to find a balance so that both Leagues can be balanced and fair while still being competitive and fun. Some regiments just don't have the level of skill and experience to compete with other regiments.

Actually, I requested a battle for LiquidSkorpion's referee trial and Jakester approached me about doing the match with the LG. That was helpful, of course, but it isn't being used to decide the composition of leagues.

You understand that makes League 2 pointless to win right?

The reason the leagues were later split by skill was because of the massive gap in skill between all the regiments involved in our highly active community. Which we don't have anymore. 

Therefore why split them based on skill when the gap is nothing like it used to be when we had 3eVolt/12th/71St etc involved.

This system of playing through league 2 just to earn a spot in league 1 is pointless, especially when considering over half the regiments won't even be around or returning for the next season after this.

So my question is why would any regiment that gets placed in league 2 want to play through the whole season when winning it only puts them in last place of league 1???

Pretty sure 63e could 10-0 a lot of regiment same with us if we didn't start trolling after we won. We beat 32e 9-1 and they're considered a top regiment.

Thats us when we want a win and pick a good map. 32e are our best friends regiment wise so we wanted to be their asses xD
