Thank you everyone for your replies. It was truly an epic encounter, and even if the score might not reflect it, it was extremely tense, and we had to be at our very very best in order to compete against that 5e team. They have proven throughout the whole league that they were a super strong regiment, especially with their teamplay which is really really tough to counter.
I'm of course extremely proud of my men. The 4e tonight has won the Cavalry League 1 Champion title for the third time in a row, and added to that we are still unbeaten, in all of the matches we have played in almost two years of existence. Truly a thing we can be proud of, and even if all of this is just a game and nothing more, well when you're playing a game you still want to win I suppose, so I'm quite glad of that amazing record we have. Shout out again to the 5e because they're the only ones who have managed to tie against us (twice actually), and more than that, they gave us the hardest times ever on this game. It was good to have rivals such as them throughout our time here.
Regarding the 4e, we'll stick around the community, probably until it dies and a new game comes out. We will continue to participate to competitive events, and to play and (hopefully) win matches. I'm really proud and glad to be leading such loyal men, a captain couldn't ask for more really.
Laslty regarding what comes next on the competitive NW cavalry community. Well I truly have no clue. I might host a new CNC, I might not, I honestly can't tell just now. I must see how things evolve, how my own situation goes and if I still feel like hosting big things. Be assured that you will be kept informed anyway.
I will edit the League 1 table in the original post, just so everything is up to date. If you want to read my conclusion message which was posted at the end of the league:
