I'm planning to revive good old BoP: 1914 and have gotten some ideas from HoI IV like Political Power. Does anyone have any ideas for industry and military unit mechanics?

Edit: I'm currently making a simple "industry map". It's basically show how many industry points each region has. Industry points will help you build infantry units and upkeep them and some other stuff probably. I'm still open to suggestions, I'm still trying to invent good military, stability and research mechanics.

Would people prefer me to actually launch the zombie convoy after few more tweaks so more can join, or just do a modern scenerio. A modern setting like a FOB overseas or something alike.
