The Gun Politics Thread
« on: June 29, 2015, 07:53:17 am »

Do you find yourself overcome with the urge to exclaim "FUCK YEAH!" upon the very mention of firearmsFUCK YEAH/the Second AmendmentFUCK YEAH/etc?

Do you own and/or love guns?

Do you think civilians should be allowed to possess and use firearmsFUCK YEAH recreationally and/or for self-defence (within reason of course)? With what limitations (licensing, restricted classes, etc)?

If you answered yes, no, "CHRIST I NEED TO GO BUY A(NOTHER) GUNFUCK YEAH", or "noo gunz is bad they iz kill people ban plz" to any of these questions, this thread is for you.

Basically feel free to discuss anything about the politics of gun ownership (from bans to background checks to the impact of firearms on violent crime).

A quote to get the ball rolling:
Spoiler
quote author=Viriathus link=topic=24630.msg1063065#msg1063065 date=1435494558]
Instead of banning a fucking flag, They should ban their retarded gun use for civilians, Might get somewhere then. Yanks.......

Pretty much yes. I would assume flags doesnt kill ppl, even in the hands of extremely stupid ppl. But guns on the other hand...
True, but thats another topic :P

Rules:
1) Just try to stay on topic and keep the banter flowing.
2) learn what an "assault" rifle/weapon is before mentioning them. If you see that someone has failed to do so, you are encouraged to laugh at them relentlessly
3) Avoid personal attacks and obey the usual forum rules

I enjoy watching hogs get blown up with tannerite.

Also, I love guns. Especially ones that can leave a hole the size of a basketball in a military grade vehicle.

If you are anti-drug war, you should be pro-gun. If you are anti-authoritarianism, you should be pro-gun. If you are pro-socialist, you should be pro-gun. If you are anti-ruling class, you should be pro-gun. If you are pro-freedom, you should be pro-gun. If you are pro-US constitution, you should be pro-gun.

If you are a brainwashed eurotard, you should be anti-gun. It's ok though.

There is really only one reason to have guns, lets be honest here guys. That reason being, guns are fun. That includes hunting and shooting clay discs and other stuff to that nature. Guns are great fun!  So yeah, keep them legal because our country was founded on the basis of freedom, to be able to do what you like. Akko pretty much proves my point that americans only want to keep their guns because it's fun.

No, I don't want to keep my guns just because they're fun. How thick are you? We have guns to be able to overthrow the government. Guns are extremely valuable tools.

Akko, that might've been true a long time ago but honestly man. You're bringing guns to a drone fight, who the fuck do you think is going to win?

And who's saying I shouldn't be able to purchase my own drone? Also, ever hear of a guerrilla war? Tactics are invented when you are outnumbered and outgunned.

me...i don't want private citizens owning fucking drones...there is literally no reason to own a predator drone besides killing people, that is not freedom, that is insanity.

It would definitely go nice with the Pip Boy I'm getting.

Think I'll stick with a 10/22 for now though. Gotta start somewhere realistic :P

You're scared of using a gun against a human? If someone charged into your house with a loaded gun, hell bent on killing you and your family, what do you do?

I'd shoot that motherfucker but honestly, people like that are only in it for your stuff, not your life. Shit like that RARELY ever happens. What i'm saying though is that why would you own a fucking drone? You can't use that shit for "protection" can't really use it for fun because you don't really get to see the explosion very well, what you do get though is a lot of dead people. You just told me is that you want to be able to buy one...if not for protection or fun, what would that drone be used for akko? That's right, killing people! So if you want to own a predator drone with the only intended purpose of killing people, i am wondering what you intend on using guns for...like i said, protection would rarely ever happen so.....yeah.....
Someone call the police, i think akko is going to shoot up a school or something.
