Who will you be voting for? Who do you think will win? Who do you think is the most viable democratic candidate to compete against Hillary? Who is the least-worst Republican candidate?

I'm sure after the elections the United States will finally have a good government which won't be messing around in other countries affairs.

Almost all the neocons in American politics are either dead or irrelevant now, so yeah, it might actually be possible. Honestly out of all the current possible candidates, Hillary is the most hawkish and likely to start a war in the name of American democracy.

I'm studying US politics atm but we're not gonna look at the 2016 election. I quite licked that Ron Paul fellow from last time. How much different is Rand?

Rand is more of a traditional conservative and has tried to establish more ties with the greater Republican party in recent years. He's worse than Ron, but still the closest major runner we have to a real Libertarian in 2016. I don't really like him, but if it comes down to him and Hillary it'll be tough. I'll probably just end up voting for him to deprive someone else of my vote.

Luckily Obama and his merry friends like Kerry and the other Democrats are pacifist plushies.

I want bernie sanders to run. If he does, i'm voting for him. If not then i might not vote.

Please no hillary, she is more right wing than bill or obama. I want a candidate who can support my own values. Hillary is basically a republican running as a democrat.

Please no ted cruz, he's canadian and he's stupid. At least i could stand rand paul for 4 years, i could not stand 4 years of an annoying canadian cunt as president.

All in all, every candidate i have seen so far is terrible. I don't like any of them. Pleaseeee bernie sanders, RUN FOR PRESIDENT!

I disagree with a lot of Rand's views, but for most of the worst ones he's stated that he won't overrule states decisions regarding those issues. He's anti-marijuana legalization but he supports it for medicinal purposes, which is a good start at least. He's very strongly pro-life but he supports abortion in life threatening situations, and honestly in 2015 public opinion will just override his stance anyway. He's pro 2nd amendment which is good. He's anti gay marriage but he said he won't overrule any states decisions, which is good.

So in short I can't approve of his policies, but as long as he's not too hawkish and aggressive I will support him.

“Ego is a structure that is erected by a neurotic individual who is a member of a neurotic culture against the facts of the matter. And culture, which we put on like an overcoat, is the collectivized consensus about what sort of neurotic behaviors are acceptable.” -Terence McKenna
