The story of Ragnar Lothbrok is Nordic fantasy so right there inaccuracy is gonna be prevalent and also what joer said
Ragnar is not based entirely on fantasy, there are many historical events mixed into his saga which have made historians uncertain about the existence of a Ragnar Lothbrok.

Season 3 is hard to watch sometimes, the previous two season have been bareable, but equipping the saxons with incredibly shiny Burgeonettes makes my eyes bleed, I know it's not historically accurate but you don't need to make the damn show unwatchable with it.
