« on: January 07, 2013, 07:57:06 pm »
Hello everyone! As almost none of you know, I absolutely love world war two. And I most specifically love the axis, With their uniform, Witt, and of course wonderful weapons.

So, I was thinking...
Let's create a ww2 gallery, Filled from pictures of anything related from the way. Anything from propaganda pictures, to Eva Braun dressed up as some black guy.

Speaking of Eva braun....

Spoiler

We are NOT allowing Nazi black face on these forums.

*cough* Fake.

Just like the Russian picture of the Reichstag. I can't help but think that it's really sad if you have to FAKE your glorious moments in history.

Defensive victory over soviets at tali-ihantala was glorious.
Maybe one of the most famous pictures from the Finnish front.

To be fair, the original flag was very small, and there weren't any photographers on hand, due to the fact that the first flag was raised when the Japanese present weren't quite ready to give up the mountain.

And now, of course, the obligatory image of Jack Churchill with his sword;

Fact remains it's a fake picture, and they said it was real. Damn, the soldiers ON the bloody photo didn't even participate in the battle.

Now, Jack Churchill. Damn, he's a hero. Where was this photo taken?

Lol. Now you're just being silly..
The photo wasn't staged, the flag was simply raised again, with a photographer catching that moment rather than the original.
And half the men in the photo were dead before the battle's end, so I dunno what you're talking about, when you say that they didn't fight.

And the one of Jack Churchill was, if I remember correctly, taken during a training landing somewhere in England. (I dunno where, I just thought the photo looked nice. :P)

Could we not avoid these arguments? The war was a horrible time for all of the world, no point arguing about what was fake and who the heroes were, all the real heroes never came back.

They were basy half a day rising the flag. It was planned. Nothing heroic about that.

Didn't Hitler admire the muslims for their hathred of jews?

Perhaps he did, however you must remember the Muslims and the rest of the world all hated the jews regardless of their religious ideology.
But there was no discrimination in terms of recruiting volunteers. As almost not that many people who, about 250,000 Jews served in the Wehrmacht.

For example:

Wehrmacht Private Werner Goldberg
"The Ideal German Soldier"

And many others that were officers, generals, etc.

Horst Geitner

General Helmut Wilberg

General Johannes Zuckertort

Oh, and I forgot about this gentleman right here
