Roland: 12:09 PM - Roland: He said that he was plewased that we got in touch with him. Even though his dad is still super mad. Luckily he talked to me but only to say that he would not contact us anymore. I was very saddened but I understood. Very much saddenend. Everyone deserves to live a good life with or without what ever they want or need. So we parted ways.
12:10 PM - Eagle Eye: soo he will never contact us ever?
12:12 PM - Roland: 'Fraid not brother. Even though he loved us he must go. And we have to respect that. Reggington is gone. Never to be seen again. Ok? Terrible as it is :(.
2:03 PM - [27th] Euget: ;_;

As sad as this is, don't post private conversations on here please.

Anyway, Reggington: Gone but not forgotten.

Also, just curios, what do you folks think about Syria?

I think it's a country. Is there something about it in current events I should know about?

I think a conflict is unavoidable. Now, does the U.S want to help Al-Qaeda by siding with the rebels? Prob. not a good idea.

I don't think the US will "officially" provide any support to the rebels, even though we have in the past. If something goes down, it will be aimed at strategic points all over Syria, and the rebels will take the opportunity to try to finally topple Assad, whether we officialy give them any aid or not.

Indeed, however the real threat is what comes after Assad. Who's next? If the rebels do topple Assad then Al Qaeda will most likely get involved. That means they could potentially have access to Syrian weaponry and technology. That's definitely not something the U.S wants to have against them.

I don't think the main concern for the US is Syria itself, it's Russia. This whole thing is putting us on edge with them, they've blocked the UN from intervening in Syria multiple times since the attacks, and Obama and Putin aren't necessarily the best of friends at the moment.

True, but again, you guys and the soviets have always been at each others throats.
 Anyways, I  don't see a positive outcome for the U.S. whatever happens.

The best outcome would be for us to back down and stop putting our nose in other people's business. Let someone else punish Syria, the UK ain't gonna do it, so let France or someone have at them. When did it become our job to police the world?

It became our job to police the world when we stopped being an isolationist industrial superpower.
