Well I'll be honest, I don't know shit about those historic regiments (don't know if you even call it regs back then) and that I just chose the london one because london is like obviously near most of us brits.

For one of the dominion Nations you should consider the Royal Newfoundland Regiment.

If you have ever been to the Somme battlefield you have likely seen a large bronze stag overlooking a large stretch of land. This was put there in memory of the regiment when they where almost wiped out in one charge on the opening day of the Somme.
