Hello fellow Mount and Blade: Warband Napoleonic Wars players! My name is Ian, and I am apart of the 11th United Army British Regiment. I wish to all inform you of yet another troll regiment... the 1stRL. Let me tell you all a story of my experience with this band of trolls, and let them try to discredit me while I do this! Let me start at when I met them...

So, I was going to create a regiment of mine, and I was trying to get back into the game of Napoleonic Wars. I joined the 1stRL group fight server, trying to get my skills back up in the game. There, I met Ronin, the 2nd in command of the 1stRL, who was friendly and someone that I got along with easily(the beginning at least). In my previous experience with being the colonel of a NW clan, I had many troubles with troll regiments, and I was hopeful to befriend a serious regiment.

After my chat with Ronin, he came over to my regiment's teamspeak 3 server frequently over the next few days, playing with us and hanging out, even helping to populate our server. At this time, I was hopeful that I had found this serious, experienced regiment that only existed in my dreams. After these few days, things started going downhill...

Granted I had met some of the high command of the 1stRL, but I had not even met the colonel of the regiment. Then, one night, I had the... er... displeasure of meeting him. As a representative of his own clan, he and the company he brought from the regiment trolled everyone in my Teamspeak 3 Server. Speaking for myself, I can take trolling, but one thing that makes me furious is when members of my own regiment are frustrated by trolls who come onto MY Teamspeak 3 server, the members that are active and come to events and want to have a good time, not to get their ass trolled by some 3rd rate regiment. Some of his members also thought it funny to represent their regiment with words of racial slurs, profanity, and posting pornography as their avatars (my favorite because this is specifically cited in my rules section of my server not to have). After this incident, I then made an executive decision with my high command that we were not interested to continue relations with the 1stRL, and that we were done with the involvement with 1stRL period.

Not one day after this incident, I had a few guys from the 1stRL come into my teamspeak server for someplace to "talk," which after an hour I finally got out of them that they quit/got kicked out out the 1stRL, and knew that the regiment had trolled on my server, and wanted to see it for themselves. During this time, I was told by the 2 quitting NCO officer's that there is much trolling, "distrust," and other issues in the 1stRL, and that they were quitting because of it. After an hour or two, they went on their merry way, in which I never saw them again.

The next day... a guy named hurkysword came into my Teamspeak 3 Server. He inquired about what happened, and why we were upset with the 1stRL. Me and my high command told him that the colonel of his regiment, and other members came and trolled my members and Teamspeak 3 Server, and that we wanted no relations with the 1stRL anymore. He said "ok," and left. A few hours after that, Ronin messages me on steam inquiring what happened. I said "Your colonel and a few guys from your regiment trolled us." His response, "lol." My response, "Bye Ronin."

After this, hurkysword adds my 3rd in command at the time, and asks him if he wants to join the 1stRL, because obviously the 11thUA is doomed to fail and we are all trolls. My officer's response, "**** off". I was proud.

In the future it might help your regiment's reputation not to recruit from other regiments. With that being said if any of your members try recruiting from the 87th again we will have problems.
And it appears that I am not the only one with this issue.

Five weeks pass, and then Ronin messages an officer of mine to add me (because I had ignored him earlier), and that he wanted to talk to us, and apologize. With my high command, we hear his apology, about "trolling," of which was not specific in the slightest. After explaining to him why our regiment was frustrated with the 1stRL, and everything that they had done to deserve our mistrust, he tells us that Munch wants to come apologize. Munch comes into the channel, and IMMEDIATELY starts trolling us with a high pitched voice to screw with us. My 2nd in command tells him to either say his peace, or get out. He then leaves, but quickly before sets his leaving message ...

This is my experience with the 1stRL. Please stay away from these guys, they are only trouble, and I am not the only person that they have trolled. And truth be told, don't even waste your time with these people. I do hope that everyone out there in the Warband community has a better experience with Napoleonic Wars that I.

Thank you all for posting such abusive comments and untter slander against myself and my regiment. Ironicly you are breaking forum rules and I am asking people that have commented to erase this slander from your comments. From here on out please refrain from talking any "crap" on this forum. The rules that are broken are:

2. Trolling, insulting and other personal attacks
Personal attacks on forum users and moderators of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes (but it is not limited to) insults, provocations for the sake of argument, homophobic slurs, threats, encouragement to suicide, wishing death or ill upon a user and death threats or threats to the persons physical constitution. The latter (in the threats category), in the absence of humor, is a criminal offense and will result in an immediate ban. Discussions are allowed, but only constructive discussions, not discussions where your main goal is to humiliate or offend someone. Aim to discuss points rather than people. Also do not post screamer links; it may result in an immediate mute or ban depending on how far the admin launched his breakfast upon viewing. Additionally; should a user create an account or group solely for the means of trolling, advertisement of trolling, or as a means to cause harm to another individual or group, in whatever shape or form, then FSE reserves the right to refuse service to the individual or group in question.

4. Spamming
Making unnecessary posts with no valuable content will be regarded as breaking the forum rules and punished accordingly. Try to avoid double posting whenever it is possible. If you want to add something to your post then please edit it, do not make a new one - please do not post the same thing on several places of the forum without permission. Be aware that posting unnecessary content (such as quote pyramids or off-topic posting of image macros or GIFs) can also constitute spamming.

Now under the forum Guidelines For Posting:

Please do not rant and rave
Please do not create a hate filled thread or post that serves only to stir up popular sentiments against a user, policy or product  in a pitchfork and torch fashion. If possible please keep all criticism constructive and non-abusive to enable everyone to focus on the problem rather than the hatred it has generated. Thank you!

Please read forum rules before posting on my thread or any part of the forum.

*Disclaimer*
I "Munch" am not in any way trying to perform the act or duty of a forum moderator or admin. This post is a friendly reminder of what rules are being broken and what not to do on the forum and this thread. This comment will be removed within 24 hours of the post.

So you will not defend yourself? Just goes to show how guilty the 1stRL really is.

I'm not going to try to defend myself when half of the stuff they put up there is made up, especially since I wasn't the person who was trolling. I was in their ts at the time but it was an enlisted member of mine and those "NCO officers" that quit, only 4 people have "quit my regiment" and all of those were enlisted. I kicked a lot of people for trying to take over my regiment or going against my orders including one of my NCO's who is now with the WFI. Trying to defend myself only makes me seem guilty and continues the argument and slander. This is ending now.

Popcorn post removed, however beyond that from what I can read other regiments have a grievance with the way you conduct yourself. They came here and made a lengthy and well explained post detailing why they have an issue with your regiment and you in particular containing nothing overly aggressive or outright abuse throwing.

With reference to your "rule quotes" - Details of how a regiment, particularly its leading officers behave towards other members of the community is extremely "Relevant" to the thread in question. Just because it paints you in a bad light does not mean you get it removed by spam reporting every post you dislike.

They have said their piece and you have opted to play the moderator card. In this instance the posts will not be edited or removed, however should the regiments in question wish to continue the discussion I recommend doing it via more private channels to avoid descending into areas that will result in moderation and warnings.

Given you have now received your requested "moderator input" the thread will be unlocked and monitored closely.
