Saturday night was really cold, it went down to 35°F.

Pffh. 35° Fahrenheit isn't cold.

Is it just me or does every napoleonic reenactment have a 95th rifles?
Of course, I also think lines should be able to move in double rank without having emotional breakdowns.

Years of hard campaigning have really taken their toll.

I never truly liked the British hussar uniform. The loose white braid hasn't got enough swag.

This guy also seems to have bought his pants a few sizes too big.

well you said that his pants are a few sizes too big in the picture but they look fine to me. So im asking was there a type of stye for cav to wear tight pants.

The napoleonic age is quite famous for its tight pants. The ACW was all 'meh let's get comfy'  :P

Considering this man is wearing his white pantaloons (intended for parade) instead of the overalls (for campaign), he really shouldn't have this much 'slobbing'.
