I'd best tell the two event hosters who ARE NOT DA/UA and ARE EU that they should shut down their events because MagicTeatowel said they are not allowed to run it due a UA/DA monoply.

Is it completely controlled and dominated by UA/DA? = Yes

I don't want to start a childish argument but is a pretty much an accepted fact that the DA/UA dominate the EU side of NaS to extend of which they have a achieved a monopoly. I'm not saying its a good thing or a bad thing, I'm just saying that it is true. I play NaS and have done for along time, since Jan 2013 and I am not "against" NaS or its community.

The DA/UA host one event during the middle of the week for EU players. And the majority of people in it are not affiliated with either army. (Reznov's event).

The DA/UA do have a PRIVATE event that they host for going against one another directly, however I fail to see how the EU part of the community can complain, after all its NOT open to the public.

Would the DA like other non DA/UA events, HELL YES. I believe the majority of regiments in Braggs Brigade (NA based majority) attend an event hosted by Forlorn Hope Eatjello on Thursdays. An event on Sunday hosted by 2nd MD/ItaliaGuards.

26th NC (in Braggs Brigade) also HOST an event on Tuesday, and one of their PFC's hosts another one on Sunday. Both events are NOT UA/DA only and infact 60-70% of the participants are NOT UA/DA.

For EU, sadly we only have the event hosted by Reznov on Wednesdays that is NOT UA/DA only. This is due to the lack of non-affiliated regiments on the EU side. Probably because the EU regiments came together and made the UA/DA.

But I still do not see what the problem is with having a private event for the two armies is?

I didn't really know these events existed. I doubt there is a 'monoply' because barely anyone else is actually doing events or if they are doing so they aren't using these forums at all to share them with the community.

Instead of pointlessly finger pointing and arguing lets see people trying to get the word out of these events or start new ones up.

As I said, I would welcome it. (and so would Wolf, even if I had to beat some sense into him).

Reznov is still setting up his event thread for the Wednesday event.
The NA events have threads on these forums up.

If anyone wanted help setting up an event, the DA will give as much assistance as accepted by the hoster. Cant guarantee more than 1 or 2 regiments coming though, most of them have other NW reg's they play with during the week.

He's not on Holiday. He has a new government job, so he's not readily available to make any sort of mods right now.
