In a couple hours were going to call the officers and any interested rankers to teamspeak and were going to explain the formations.

Historically I believe so. French Skirmish Doctrine was not included in the French Manuel and every regiment was expected to make their own doctrine.
However seance many regiments used skirmishing extensively in the Revolution regiments generally has very similar doctrines.

PLG backup? Its a good day to be a Skirmisher! Kill the enemy cav and skirmishers and we can stomp all over their team!
