Of course, I also think lines should be able to move in double rank without having emotional breakdowns.

The Patriot wasn't Napoleonic Wars :3 . You could maybe watch the Sharpe tv series, or the Hornblower series. Other than that, there's a good movie about the battle of Waterloo, called "Waterloo". On the Civil War front there's always "Gods and Generals" or "Gettysburg". There are probably a  lot more, but that's just off the top off my head. ;)

St3fan :)

For a start the patriot was in the American revolution, n00b.  :-*

As for good NW movies, I myself have struggled to find any really good ones a part from Waterloo (the old version) and of course the more generic Sharpe series. If you're interested in things for Naval based, then perhaps Hornblower might interest you. It's like Sharpe, but on ships rather than on land, although quite a lot of the action does happen off-board the ship. ^^

Hornblower is just an all-time legendary classic. Especially the third episode; Frogs and Lobsters. Vive L'Roi!

A must see if you like Napoleon time or not!

Glory is about the first all black regiment (54th Massachusettes) in the american civil war, some big actors in it too! (Denzel Washington/Morgan Freeman).

And of-course Sharpe!

(Might have to watch Hornblower after reading the comments.. >.<
