7-1 to the 77y and 15thYR!
Sadly the 15thYR/77y are very strong in melee so this was always going to be a difficult one for the 33rd/16th. As for the match itself there were virtually no rulebreaks, a golden standard for the tournament! Gi got OAd a couple of times but we were unsure whether to heal him for that we tried to get clarification mid match but couldn't (I personally think you probably should). So sorry for that.
Otherwise it was nice to see the 33rd/16th beat such a strong team in one round!

45thN 7 - 1 96y/71stSpoiler[close]
What a weird, and bad match. 45thN started off quite well, having better tactics and winning mostly comfortably. The 71st was clearly missing DarkTemplar and Rommel leading-wise and was mostly shot down in the beginning. The 96y endlessly chased the 45thN Centre line. A couples rounds in the match got more light-hearted and the 96y/71st team didnt really look like they care anymore, ending in them yolo charging the last 2 rounds, one of them they actually won. So far so good, 45thN did a better job, and 71st/96y gave their best in the beginning but lost.
But the 45thN as in the first match I also reffed, was not worthy of a potential tournament winner. I would say about 5 rulebreaks a round. Incredible amount of ROL, Several FICs per round, trying to spawn and use Partizani weapons, an OA from time to time, and horrible formations. Together with a lose interpretation of what they are allowed to charge. Pres saved you guys from 1 round replay I would have given. Apart from that it was all relatively small rulebreaks that we solved with revives and slays. But cmon. I´d very honestly say I saw more then 30 rulebreaks from your side tonight, against maybe 3 from the other team. Work on that!

45thN 8 - 0 33rd/16thSpoiler[close]
Not a lot to say about the match on a playing level. 45thn Gren line won the melee easily, 16th and 33rd gave their best and did some great shots or eliminated the second 45thN line. One great clutch from Fwuffy in a 1v4/5 situation.
But a few comments on the rules. You are only allowed to charge one line at the same time unless they stand super close. But 20 people spacing is not super close. 45thN got a warning for that and adapted after.
In this tournament, it's meant to revive, instead of slaying for FIC. That's different from EIC but that's the rules we have to play and ref to.
But also generally, some OAs but a lot of FICs, About 10 in the match which is way too much.
And a piece of friendly advice to the 45thN. Aleko summed it up well. You guys have a lot of "almost rulebreaks". It was hard to judge at points but your formation needs to be tighter. Apart from the one round where you baited the 16th and did a small FIC, it was never round deciding, but if it would have been, a decision to replay the round would be taken on most occasions. With two refs overseeing it better than one maybe the same.

As I said in the game, over ten minutes had passed with little result coming from the shooting. Both lines were evasive, and the response was that it may of allowed you to beat 45thN Grens. But I am not playing 15+ minute rounds so you may or may not win a round
Really? Did you forget we killed half of their centre in melee that round before tactically withdrawing before the grens got us into melee?

I'm glad someone got a screenshot of that.
That's the round I would have been in favour of replaying if Stockholm had seen it, sadly he didn't fully and obviously to do something like voiding a round you probably need both referees to agree.

I think the round Stockholm refers to that (he says) I saved them from a round void, the 71st/96y line were extremely close and as such I think charging both of them was inevitable (Especially given the angle of the charge).
There was certainly some amount of RoL (people pushing reloads after being told to move out) from the 45thN side. There were also cases of 45thN players FiCing, throwing a bottle at Desant, using other partisani weapons BUT the 45thN themselves tried to slay their own players doing it.
The worst round was one of the close ones where I believe the 45thN Grens effectively formed 2 lines and fired into the side of the 96y(?). If Stockholm had got a better view of that, I probably would have agreed that was worth voiding, but he didn't get that good of a view of it. Apparently that's not the first time it's happened so that's probably something that needs working on if that's true.
If anyone cares for a second opinion on what Stockholm is saying, the above is it.

Personal Opinion Summary: Given the melee skill of the 71st/96y I don't think they played too well. Equally the 45thN bent the rules a bit today. There you go!
