it will be interesting how sipers work, i do not know much about the time period so i didn't know they even had them xD

They had snipers even in the 1700's. I'm not sure if a sniper was just a very skilled marksman, or if the rifle was actually made for sniping. I think it was the former though. So I guess a sniper will just be what a rifleman is to a line infantryman in NW. Just more accurate.

I think I prefer Prussia out of all the nations of NW.

The dark blue just seems the neatest and most eye pleasing colour, Britain is a close second but the red is a bit flashy. Austria is last...I can't stand their choice of uniform colours.

Austrian uniforms actually looked quite classy in real life, and just by doing a quick google search you can find some nice drawings of them. Personally I think that the devs didn't do a great job with the Austrian uniforms in game, and that they should've focused on making them look more fabricy, whereas the final product came out looking rather plasticy. They did the best job making the Prussian uniforms, IMO. Best textures and stuff.

Does any of you guy's actually realise, that it wouldn't have made any differents that the Confederates allowed slavery? If the CSA won the war and remained an own nation. Then they would have need to ban slavery anyway, otherwise the UK and other major nations at that time would never have recognized them as an independent country. Quite some Confederates were even against slavery, and most of those fought more for their own state. I bet only a couple really fought for keeping the slavery.

Do you actually believe that if the CSA had become independent then everyone would have lived happily ever after? No, it would've been constant war for centuries. It would've been like the fucking Balkans. Even if the Union had conceded defeat for the time being, they definitely would've waited to build up strength, and then gone right for another try at unifying the country again.

Besides, the CSA never would've survived on their own. They had no major industry besides agriculture... and slaves. Go figure.

Homophobia is completely not tolerated on official servers

If people legitimately think that jokingly calling an admin a faggot is homophobia, and that it warrants an instant perma ban, then I don't know what to say. It makes to me cringe to think that anyone could be this blindingly zealous on their quest to see all "bad boy words" (As is it's coming to) eliminated. Sorry, but this isn't preschool. I know that swearing and using bigoted language is immature, but being legimitely offended when someone swears at you jokingly is absolutely ridiculous. Is Flying squirrel on a PR campaign or something? I'm pretty sure people enjoy joking around with their friends while letting out some harsh langauge more than having to watch their mouths living in a facist police state while playing a video game.

Christ. And yes, I have brought this issue up with the admins, and they brushed me off. And no, I'm not the only one to have these thoughts about the administration. I believe people who kiss up to the admins are a minority at this point.

Russia has got to be my favorite faction in NW, just for their dropdead sexy Grenadier uniform, with dat classy hat. They also have good cav. Am I the only one who thinks the Freikorps uniform look ugly as hell? And the highlander uniform looks rather ugly as well, if I may say so myself. Would've been cool a few hundred years back though.
