matches 1x per week every saturday at 9est would be incredibly based

Saturday is kinda ehhh but at least on Sunday most people are home at night cause of work/school on Monday.

I tried to do this and multiple teams freaked out and bullied me into changing it even tho it was in the rules when they signed up

I'd say every league 1 match would have to be played. Since league 2 players can sub in there should be no reason for a league 1 match to be low on players

I mean every league we've ever played always has enough players for every match but nobody wants to play without their starters ever

The reason they did that is because previous hosts just allow extension after extension basically nullifying the sub role and only playing with all starters. If you don’t allow as many extensions, the not playing subs issue disappears

yeah I know why it happens but no host has ever had enough of a backbone on this issue to actually take action against teams that constantly want to extend or refuse to play without their starters

I, for one, would welcome match forcing

Well if you look at other leagues this wasn’t an issue. Risks previous league we only had 6-7 people on each roster and each team had to play 2 matches a week. In that league there were only 2-3 total extensions. Last league we had 2-3 extensions per week. With different leaderships at the helm I expect this to go much better and like Theo said, worst case scenario we force match days.
