Changing Times
A 1v1 Tournament

This is basically the re-edition of an old 1v1 tournament I tried to host a long time ago and which unfortunately couldn't happen due to a major server issue I wasn't capable to fix on the spot back then. Since then, two years and a half have passed and I believe its time to give this another try.
While I'm aware it might create an 'accumulation' of tournaments in the eyes of some people, its been a while a 1v1 tournament hasn't been hosted within the community and I believe it would be interesting to have one before the summer break (which means many people will be in vacations).

Informations
Event Date : Saturday 13th of May | Time : 19:30 BST | Deadline : Friday 12th of May.

Number of participants is fixed to 128 for now | Prize : Nothing for now. Will try to get you guys a little something to make it somewhat worth it but I know its not really what matters in the eyes of many anyways. If anything, either money or a steam game of an equivalent value.
When registered, you will receive an invitation to a steam group. I don't have enough space to invite each of the participants on steam, so make sure to be the one adding me if you don't receive any invitation or encounter any issue regarding the tournament. A MP on FSE can also work quite fine aswell.

Rules
1. Be respectful towards the member of the staff and the other players.
2. Line Infantry | Ranker is the only class allowed. Bayonet is the only weapon allowed. No shooting.
3. Tournament Format is Single Elimination. Round 1 - 2 and 3 are First to three. Round 4 and 5 are First to five. Semi Finals are First to seven. Finals and bronze match are First to 10
4. Melee speed will be in medium.
5. No delaying in combat.
6. Only enter the arena If your name has been called, not before.
7. If you break a rule, you will be warned. There will be no second warning.
8. You're requested to use your normal in-game name to sign-up. Failure to do so will result in your instant denial from the tournament, or removal if found out after being accepted.

Events / [Native] Warband Pro League

Kinda off-topic but it's still somewhat related as it is Warband, I hope no moderators will lock this, feel free to move it if you feel its the wrong board.

The Warband Pro League, which is probably one of the biggest warband event with a 3000$ cashprize for the regionals (divided bewteen EU/NA) is coming to an end. I thought some of you would be interested to take a look at the final of the EU regional, which is tonight at 7:00pm GMT (match starting at 7:30, there is a pre-show before).

As I already some trolls coming and arguing that this is not the native forums, that NW is better than Native or any bullshit of that sort, I've played both for years, I probably player NW more than a good percentage of the forums and both are absolutely awesome in their own and different ways. The idea is just to push people out of their comfort zone and encourage them to just check what other people are making 'a few meters aways'.

A bit off topic but as NW and Native are two closed communities, kinda linked to eachothers so that's why I'm allowing myself to post this. Tonight, the NC semi finals are happening, so I guess it should interest either some belgiums, dutchs, british, french, or turkish players. In case, here is a link of the streams :

Quand bien même le topic peut paraître insolite et un peu 'perso', j'avais depuis longtemps l'envie de me créer mon petit espace ou je puisse faire partager les nombreuses musiques que j'écoute.

J'ai bien conscience qu'on ne peut pas avoir chacun nos threads en fonction de nos envies, et que si tout le monde faisait ça on ne s'y retrouverait pas,  et que c'est la raison pour laquelle Sinjide à créer le topic musique par exemple, mais honnêtement mis à part certaines musiques (toujours posté par la même personne) je m'y perds un peu, ou ne m'y retrouve pas du tout.

Comme la section 'Discussions Publiques' reste quand même loin du flood au niveau de la fréquence des topics/posts, je me suis donc dit que ça ne dérangerais pas que je me fasse mon petit coin perso. Si je me permets de le faire c'est parce que je pense avoir des gouts très variés (avec pour seule vraie ignorance le Métal/HardRock) donc qui devraient toucher le plus de monde. J’essayerais de poster une nouvelle musique de manière régulière, ne vous sentez pas obliger de commenter, l'important est avant tout de se retrouver autour d'un beau morceau.  A toi de voir Cara, si ça dérange ou pas.

Competitive EU Events/Tournaments / Le Staff : 1v1 Tournament

Greetings gentlemen. I had the wish for a while to host a 1v1 Tournament among the NW community and there we finally go. Since we hadn't have a one versus one tournament for a while I do hope it will bring the attention of many people so we can get a well deserved new champion within the EU community.

The tournament will be hosted on Monday the 1st December 2014 at 7:30pm GMT which means that you have around of two weeks from now to sign up which should be enough to get a good amount of teams. The dead line for the registeration is Sunday the 30th of November 2014 at 7:pm.
All the players will be invited in a steam group made for the occasion. If you register now that implies you can be sure that you will be here in two weeks, If you actually are not, better wait for the confirmation before signing up.

Events: EU / [EU] Le Staff : A Napoleonic War Organisation Team [WIP]

A Napoleonic War Organisation Team

Who are we ?

More than a bunch of veteran frogs who played this game for far too long, The Staff is a team of frenchmen made by myself which aims to organise regulars event among the Napoleonic War Community. We're for most of us veterans of the game, playing from the begining of Napoleonic War and even before and by the time we participed to numerous events organised by the Napoleonic War Community and even hosted our own ones.
That's the reason why we hope that all this time spent in this community and all the experience that we will gather together might give you the assurance of well organised events.

So far the team is still in construction with Tilsind (84e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne), Clikenforce (23e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne), Dren (14e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne) and myself.

What do we aim for ?

For the moment the team is still recent, some us already hosted events among the french community but it will be our "first time" as a team on the international scene.

However, what we will try to aim is hosting differents and various events for the Napoleonic War community, with professionalism and serious.
The golden age of Napoleonic War is for my part over but there are still ton of people motived for tournaments such as 1v1, 2v2 and Groupfighting ones, that's the reason why we'll try to give to Napoleonic War the better events possible before we got the possibility to move on another module or game.

For now what we plan to host are more 1v1 and 2v2 events since Lime and the 3rds already host which I find a really good Groupfighting Event but If you have any idea for a special tournament you would like to host, make sure to let us know.

What are we looking for ?

For the moment, not much. We already have the IVe Corps d'Armée Français which has the capacity to host events on a serious machine. More information will be communicated about it in the following days. And I do have several decent maps for these kind of events which have already been used in the past for similar events.

We're not specialy looking for members either however If you're interested by the idea, you can always contact me on steam but in this case, you must be able to speak a fluent french to be consider worth for the team. Though, since the team will be hosting international events, we're definetly looking for non french speaker able to be referees in-game, so do not hesitate If you want to help us out. We just prefer keeping the internal adminstration only french for now.

M&B: Warband - Napoleonic Wars / "Les Duellistes" Seconde Edition

Seconde édition

Salutations à toute la communauté francophone de Napoleonic Wars.

Après la première édition du tournoi les "Duellistes", et le succès bienvenu de celle-ci, l'équipe organisatrice, formée par Tardet, Sinjide, Erik et Tilsind a décidé de renouveler le tournoi dans une seconde édition, aux règles et fonctionnements quelques peu différents. Ce tournoi, comme l'était le premier, n'est organisé que pour le plaisir de tous les joueurs de la communauté francophone du jeu. Nous espérons voir chez les joueurs la même motivation et la même envie que lors de la première édition.

La particularité de cette deuxième édition des "Duellistes", et que les combats ne se feront pas en 1 contre 1, mais en 2 contre deux, et donc par équipes.
Nous espérons de tout cœur que cette nouvelle forme de jeu vous permettra de jouer différemment, et de vivre une expérience unique, mais tout de même autant voire plus appréciable que lors de la première édition du tournoi. Tous les joueurs souhaitant participer sont les bienvenus à la seule condition que les deux membres de chaque équipes soient francophones. Une affiliation quelconque à un régiment n'est en aucun cas demandée, cet évent est et reste public.

Le tournoi aura lieu le 25 août, à 20h30 . Les inscriptions seront fermées le 24, à 22h.
L'objectif premier de ce tournoi est d'atteindre les 32 équipes inscrites. Étant donné qu'une équipe représente 2 joueurs, cela ferait 64 joueurs, taux de combattants déjà atteint lors de la dernière édition.

La raison pour laquelle le thread est posté si tôt tiens au fait qu'étant pour la majorité d'entre nous, en période de vacances, il m'a semblé important de se donner toutes les chances possibles pour avoir un maximum d'inscrits et ainsi permettre à ceux qui rentrent ou partent à différents moments du mois d’aout de voir le thread et de s'organiser avec leur partenaire en fonction.

Un groupe steam sera également crée pour regrouper un joueur par équipes à qui les informations seront communiquées, avant et pendant la durée de l'évent.
Le serveur et le mot de passe seront donnés un peu avant l'évent.

1. En tout temps et tout lieu, soyez respectueux des autres joueurs.
2. Classe Obligatoire : Soldat - Infanterie de Ligne.
3. Les matchs seront en premier à 3 et les demie finales et finale en premier à 5.
4. Le combat en mêlée sera en médium.
5. Pas de delay volontaire en combat.
6. 32 slots sont ouverts.
7. Seul les joueurs appelés prendront place dans les arènes, les autres doivent rester en spectateur.
8. Si une des règles est enfreinte, le ou les joueurs seront avertis. Une récidive entrainera un ban.
9. Un joueur n'est pas autorisé à être dans deux équipes à la fois. Si un joueur est vu dans deux équipes différentes, cela peut entrainer la disqualification des deux équipes et ce à n'importe quel moment du tournoi.
10. Le tournoi est en élimination directe et comportera une petite finale pour décider de la 3ème place.

M&B: Warband - Napoleonic Wars / "Les Duellistes" Tournoi Francophone 1vs1.

Les Duellistes

Après un moment de concertation et de réflexion, j'ai le plaisir de vous annoncer l'ouverture du premier tournoi officiel de duels dans la communauté française.

Les duellistes, tournoi basé sur le concept de plusieurs autres évents qui ont déjà fait leurs preuves dans la communauté internationale, offre la possibilité à tous les membres de la communauté francophone de venir mesurer leur skill par rapport à d'autres joueurs venant d'autres régiments.

Le tournoi aura lieu le Lundi 30 Juin, à 20h30. Les inscriptions seront fermées le Dimanche 29 à 22h. Le serveur et la map sont encore à définir.

Toute personne faisant partie de la communauté française est bien évidemment invitée à participer, cependant les organisateurs se réservent un droit de véto sur chaque candidatures si elles ne correspondent pas aux attentes du tournoi. Il est également important de noter que le tournoi est considéré comme un évent "public" et que donc à ce sens, l'affiliation à un régiment n'est en aucun cas nécessaire pour y participer.

Le format du tournoi reste encore à ce moment indécis. Il variera en fonction du nombre de demande, mais pour l'instant, la visée est d’atteindre au moins 32 slots et se déroule en élimination directe. L'objectif est qu'il n'y ai pas trop de joueurs ayant un "free pass" pour le 1er round.

Le tournoi se déroulera donc le Lundi 30 juin à 20h30. Le serveur et mot de passe seront donnés peu avant l'évent, aux capitaines préalablement invités dans le groupe steam du tournoi.
Étant organisateur et à la fois joueur, je n'administrerai aucun match de mon équipe c'est la raison pour laquelle je serais assisté d'Erik le Rouge, et éventuellement d'un second administrateur si quelqu'un se sent motivé et correspond aux critères recherchés.

1. En tout temps et tout lieu, soyez respectueux des autres joueurs.
2. Classe Obligatoire : Soldat - Infanterie de Ligne.
3. Les duels seront en premier à 3 et les demie finales et finale en premier à 5.
4. Le combat en mêlée sera en médium.
5. Pas de delay volontaire en combat.
6. 64 slots sont ouverts.
7. Seul les joueurs appelés prendront place dans les arènes, les autres doivent rester en spectateur.
8. Si une des règles est enfreinte, le ou les joueurs seront avertis. Une récidive entrainera un ban.

M&B: Warband - Napoleonic Wars / Tournoi Groupfighting Francophones (1ère Edition)

Bonjour à tous. Après quelques temps de réflexions et de collectes d’informations dans la communauté française, est arrivé le point ou je peux officiellement vous annoncer l’ouverture d’un tournoi GroupFighting interne à la communauté française qui se déroulera le mardi 11 mars à 20h30. Les inscriptions sont ouvertes et se finiront le lundi soir 10 mars à minuit.

En soi, rien d’original, ce tournoi sera calqué sur le modèle européen organisé par Hekko qui a déjà fait ses preuves mais cette fois uniquement pour la communauté française. Les visées sont donc multiples, à savoir donner l’occasion d’un entrainement avant l’édition internationale, pour les équipes déjà habitués à ce genre d’évènements ou qui souhaiteraient y faire leurs preuves dans le futur, mais également de permettre aux joueurs français de défendre la bannière de leurs régiments, et ainsi de montrer leurs capacités à toute notre communauté. 

Comme dans un tournoi GroupFighting, le choix des équipes reste libre, mais j’encourage autant qu’il est possible les joueurs de chaque régiments à composer des équipes avec leurs membres, le tournoi n’en sera que plus intéressant. Cependant, ce n’est en rien une obligation, aussi si vous souhaitez vous inscrire avec une bande de potes provenant de divers régiments, vous pouvez évidement le faire. Cela reste votre choix.

Le tournoi se déroulera donc le mardi 11 mars à 20h30. Le serveur et mot de passe seront donnés peu avant l'évent, aux capitaines préalablement invités dans le groupe steam du tournoi.
Étant organisateur et à la fois joueur, je n'administrerai aucun match de mon équipe c'est la raison pour laquelle je serais assisté d'Erik le Rouge, et éventuellement d'un second administrateur si quelqu'un se sent motivé et correspond aux critères recherchés.

Bonjour. Bon alors on vous explique le délire. Nous on est français et avec notre armée on va envahir votre pays. Donc par exemple ta maison maintenant elle à nous, ta femme elle est à nous, en bref t'es dans la merde.

Tu peux refuser de coopérer, je te gâche pas que pour le coup ça nous ferait un petit peu d'action parce que traverser votre frontière comme dans du beurre c'était un peu chiant.

Mais c'est vrai que ça serait pas franchement utile, alors au lieu de jouer au patriote tu peux aussi aller tranquillement travailler dans les camps mis à ta disposition pour les vingt prochaines années.

Non non, ne nous remercie pas, nous les français on aime venir en aide aux populations désespérés.

Hey dear community.

I suppose that you know it, the french moderator is actually banned due to his multiple account creation.
So we don't have an admin for our section anymore ..

I know that we don't need an admin for all the section and that there is for example , any admin for the Polish forum .. But there is also admins for the Lithuanian or Italian forums which are less active than the french forum.

So I wanted to know if there will have some election , or just the FSE admins will choice a new admin for the french forum.
