It's evident that the Senate wouldn't do shit even if he was guilty. Positive change is impossible, and it's time the American people accepted that.
Congress really wasn't designed to make sweeping policy changes for the whole of the population of the country except in cases of massive unanimity. This polarizing gridlock is a consequence of centralizing power in institutions that were never meant to have those powers. If a more central authority is desired, either by the peoples here or the government, then a new system is required. People seem content to try and fit a square peg through a round hole, and then get upset when it doesn't go through - shouldn't be surprising, the voting public has always only cared for its own largess and aggrandizement.

Parliament has no authority outside of the express mandate of the sovereign, don't @ me.

A free speech platform that isn't free is truly groundbreaking.

Actually thought the Chernobyl finale was the season's best episode; atmospheric 'flashback' retelling and a somber little bit at the end connecting everything to the fates of everyone.

The score for this show has also been fantastic, great song for the somber ending.

At least I was joined by the Lords of the realm when I laughed at Sam's idea.

Spoiler
At least Edmure is there, even though the hack writers still write him as a bumbling buffoon. It's also nice that they remembered Robin was Lord of the Vale and not Sansa at the very last moment.

Thanks all, once again.

If you like the water being muddied, I did think it was 'become what you join' as well. Notwithstanding, I only really remember MM rules.

Could have sworn the name is taken but good luck nonetheless

I couldn't find any that were recently alive, though the 60th Royal Bydand Rifles thread is relatively-newly bumped. If someone does have the name they can let me know and I'll change it, name/number isn't too important to us.

Thanks everyone for the well-wishes.
