I wished people would stop writting on the thread and let this page prevail, but nothing could be done.
It is soon time for page 69 to give way to other pages. Its existence was short but intense.

We see ourselves on the thread #5 for another page 69.

Page 69, I had to leave a comment no matter what  ::)

The post is beautiful. List of every guys who touched 1er is astonishing. I wish you best to all of you, I am glad I played with you on your last ride <3
Thank you for your message, the match was worthy of the event!

Even tho I didn't had the honor to play to many matches against you, I'm even more pleased to play with you guys in the last NWBC. Watching you engaging the enemies was always a beautiful moment to watch for the officeres and at the same time shocking for our enlisted for the same reason - there were no enemies left for us! I enjoyed playing with you guys, it's been always easy and simple to organize or discuss stuff for the team. I wish you all the best in the future Bedo, same for all the other guys!
Thanks Nightwing, we do keep very good memories of the NWBC, it was a pleasure to be in your team!

It was an absolute pleasure playing with you lads in the NWBC S4 last year, and even though we only won 3rd place - its always the memories, the battles fought and the people met that make the experience all that much sweeter.

I really don't know much about the 1er and despite us only fighting along side each other for a short amount of time, I must say it was an absolute pleasure not only working with you - Bedo, Saphyro and Soartex but also each match won or lost the 1er conducted themselves graciously in victory and respectfully in defeat - only coming back stronger the next match :P

It is a shame that we are losing yet another top tier staple regiment within the cavalry community with whom the 45thN shared a special relationship but alas all good things must come to an end. Best of luck to all the 1er lads moving on whether they continue playing actively or stepping away from the community altogether, and may the 1er act as future example of an exemplar quality competitive cavalry regiment  :)

I am not really familiar with the infantry scene, but it was a pleasure to play with the 45thN. Thanks for your message Maskmanmarks!

I‘ll start to cry  :'(
Think about what we did together with 32nd, it will bring you a smile  ;)

After more than 2 years of existence, our regimental story comes to an end.

The 1er played its last match yersterday, against 4e which we thank for being our last opponents. And what a great attendance we had. Many of our members are on holidays, and couldn't show up- I obviously didn't forget them. We enjoyed those last 10 rounds as best as possible. We couldn't obtain the victory, but leading the lads one last time was a unique sensation, something I would not forget.
After the match, it was time to say farewell to the regiment in an emotional ceremony, where the last promotion and medal award were done. It certainly felt like a sad moment, we kinda all knew this day would happen, but we kept living the game's moments at 100%. Thanks again to those who were present, it wasn't surely the best day to organize something like this.

Congratulations to Harris and Severus for being promoted to Cavalier. Inactivity delayed your promotion, but you were deserving it from the start.
Congratulations to Strunk, Ossi and Domi for being awarded the Order of Training. They spent so much time to improve in the game, for them and the regiment. It's a great achievement for the regiment to have trained some members!
And finally, congratulations to Saphyro and Soartex who were awarded the Order of Merit. A medal and some words are not enough to express my gratitude. You are the two biggest pillars of the regiment. I still can see ourselves 2 years ago, so many things happened in the meantime. Be proud and happy of what we have built together lads!

Thank you.

Thank you for eveything you brought to me and the regiment. 2 years ago, with no leading experience I started this regiment with a handful of people and the modest objective of creating a small group to play and improve with. We may not have achieved the best palmares, but today an immense feeling of satisfaction surrounds me. What was at the start a personnal project, you transformed it into a collective project. Many of you felt responsible towards the regiment, this is perhaps the best thing I could have ever hoped for.

81 players have at some point joined and played for the 1er. They trusted me for the lead by doing so, I thank them all for that.

They made the regiment

Spoiler
Aless : You were indeed part of the regiment for some weeks! You always belonged to the 8th, but I still thank you for having attended few matches, I hope you enjoyed it!

Andres : Never saw some negative feeling in this man, always laughing, keeping positive mood even tho times were hard.

Angel : What a pleasure to see Angel play, I always respected your talent at the game. I thank you for your help during the past competition, a shame you couldn't come for our last event!

Ar0ch3r : He was part of the polish squad that helped us during the Cavalry League. Despite being in another polish regiment you always showed interest attending the events, thank you for that.

Aureliano : One of our youngest recruits, but one of the most mature one! Your extreme kindness was not forgotten. You may not be very skilled, you sure have a great heart. It was a real pleasure to see you for our last match!

Basilikum : We trained couple of times together, you had a busy schedule most of the time but tried to attend as much as possible.

Blucher : One of the only NAs! Despite your ping you always attended the match when you were in the regiment, thank you.

Carlos : I am very glad that I could meet you. You are an incredibly nice person, and without a shadow of a doubt one of the best players I met in the game. You contributed to build the teamspirit that made the regiment so pleasant to play with during covid19. Despite you leading another regiment, it never prevented you to be fully dedicated towards the 1er, something I appreciated a lot.

Chris : You were very busy and attended very few times, but we still thank you for showing up when you had time!

Chsuk : Also very busy with your work. You were a discreet player but whose presence was always nice to see.

Chuckster : Attended few times because busy with infantry, I will still remember the noise of your mechanical keyboard!

Ciiges : You have my deepest respect for having left the dominant regiment the 4e was and made the choice to help a weaker one. You literally were a reason why we had such a good dynamic during the past few months. Your active vocal participation is what convinced me to make you Brigadier. If we had a let down during a match, you would always try to bring back the group on top.

Clamydia : You participated a lot to make the atmosphere of the regiment feel better, and always came to play other games than Warband. You also recruited people for the regiment when we needed more attendance, thank you a lot for that!

Coco_Ayala : Perhaps one of the most loyal man. Despite your difficulties to attend and to perform you always came. I am glad you played for the last match.

CokeTail : It was great to see an old 9e friend during the lockdown period, and I have to say you haven't lost so much skill! I hope to see you soon back.

Crea : You stayed at the 1er very little time, but it was great to see you show off your skill.

Cristobal : The only argentinian boy of the regiment (and perhaps of the community). Your VERY high ping made cavalry pretty much unplayable for you, but you still came because you had friends there, thank you for that.

Domi : How many times have we trained together ? I am so proud the regiment could provide you the necessary to improve. You became a nice player thanks to your efforts, be proud of it!

DragonKing : Stayed very little time, you still had your heavy way of playing but still attended to help your friends, thank you for that.

EpicPizza : The full agressive player. You participated to the regiment's dynamic by coming each weeks. You were always happy and postitive whatever the result was. Playing with you was just making the match more pleasant to lead and play.

Feezy : Sadly remembered for your cheating move during the Cavalry League, but I will remember the talented player you were, that rushed to our help for the competition.

Grazcol : You joined at the very first moment of the regiment, in a moment where we needed attendance, thank you for that.

Harris : My dear Harris, I feel sorry for you. You joined us and shortly after we became inactive. I would have loved to see you evolve in the 1er. You remain the greatest example of integration. I proposed you to join us once the 1er was formed, but you never could be active until now. I was so happy you did not forget us after two years, and I regret all I could offer was a disband event.

Higen : The eternal recruit. Came few times but always with a positive attitude.

Hungarian : I think everyone wanted to see you yersterday, I really hope we can get to chat together again, you are an extremely nice person.

Ilypa : Very busy with infantry you weren't so active but still came from time to time making you one of the oldest Recrue the regiment has ever known! I will still remember your performance during the dismounted tournament.

Jesu : A very kind man! You were part of the 8th players that joined us during the time 8th was on a break. Many thanks for your help!

Jose : You also joined us during that small period, thank you a lot. I will remember the times we used to play Minecraft!

Karl : You attended when the regiment needed help, despite you not being really attached to the game. Thank you for that!

Kazi : You may have gotten old and lost your reflexes, but I will always remember your ingame skill you once had! The regiment allowed me to know more about you, to the point you became a good friend of mine.

Kersh : Another NA player, very nice to chat with. Despite the time gap you still came to some events. Thank you for having stood up with us all that time

Krishna : Same as Aless, you were officially part of the regiment for little time, but you also invited for us quite a lot. I hope you enjoyed your stay Krish, it's always nice to play together with you! I have to say, your ability to perform even with a very high ping always impressed me.

LaPierre : You stayed little time, but it was good to see an old 9e comrade! Seing you evolve in the 6e was great to see, and we could always expect fair attitude from you.

Law : Very talented player. You didn't really fit well in the regiment, which is why you left. I am still glad you could evolve together with 6e. You were a tough opponent to play against, but I don't forget the time when we were on the same side!

Lindblom : I can't thank you enough for what you have done for us. You were paying the server for a long time now, helped me with some FSE thread, and also gave me your ex-leader opinion multiple times when I needed it. I hope everything in life is going well for you.

Louis : You came here as an infantry player, but after seing you perform in cavalry, I couldn't believe it! May you find success in the infantry scene!

Luigi : One of the very first member of the regiment. You took responsabilities despite your young age. If the regiment survived at its early period, it's also thanks to you! You tried everything that could be useful for the regiment : banners, graphics, it really helped me at the start.

MajorMark : What an honor it was to have played with you Mark. You are part of the players I admired the most on NW, you can't know how happy I was when you showed up on our TS and asked to join us! Your experience and skill definitely helped the regiment to become better.

Manki : You tried cavalry and actually stayed for quite a long time. I hope you keep good memories from your journey.

Miyu : The most silent member of the regiment, who in reality hides a wholesome man, always coming up to the event. Thanks for your loyalty Miyu.

Naz : Very talented player, whose background noises made some match very fun. Thank you a lot for playing for us, it was very pleasant to see you play. I am waiting for Devour's third map to hear you scream once again!

Nicolas Soult : No matter how long your inactivity was, you would once come back for a day, trash me and go inactive once again. Thanks for the few matches you played with us Nico, it was great to have my old leader to play one last time in my regiment.

NIEMAND : You never really integrated in the regiment but I still thank you for showing up times to times.

Olof : You do have many titles here in the 1er. You would be inactive for some months, come back once and be inactive again, but you were one of the first person I could count on in the early period of the regiment. Thank you for your trust Olof, you remain a very appreciated player here.

Ossi : I am very glad you joined our TS that day and asked us to join. You integrated very well, attended very frequently, and always were up for some training or cavalry groupfight. I am grateful for your dedication. You are also an example of improvement. We spent some sessions together, trying to see what you could improve. I witnessed your improvement from a match to another, until the point you became a key element for the team. We shall play EUIV once again together, in the meantime I hope the best can happen to you!

Ouranos : I could always count on you. One of the very first member, having you in the regiment was rassuring. You are a player I admired a lot, it's been always fun to play with you! We shared more or less 5 years together, I only keep good memories my friend!

Ozikan : One of our most recent recruits. You arrived here wanting to know new people, new experience. I think it's safe to say it was a success! You were a ranker I could count on, adding even more stability to our attendance. I hope you enjoyed your stay Ozikan.

Parigonicalus : We spent so many good moments together. It's people like you that transformed the regiment into what it was for the past few months. In game, it wasn't much different : I could always count on you and your skill. Congratz again for your studies by the way, I wish you good luck for what's coming next. Thank you for having joined us, you definitely were a perfect fit for the regiment.

Reaper : You didn't play for so long with us, but I still thank you for your services.

Redbull : You had a pretty chaotic path here, joining and leaving multiple times. Still thanks for the times you played for us.

Remao : I would have never imagined having the mighty Remao in the regiment. Your stay here allowed me to discover you and Treiz. And I am happy it was the case, because I made two great friends. I was happy 6e was a success, we always had a great relation with you guys, and that is thanks to you. I am looking forward to drive more Grand Prix with you!

Rorscharch : You surely talked a lot, but also played a lot for the regiment. You took all the matches at 200%, which is something I can't blame! Gracias!

Royal Chasseur : What a shame you decided to leave the game! You would have made an excellent Brigadier, always ready to attend and help people.

Rune : You arrived together with Louis, and like him you impressed me by your cavalry skill. I would have wanted to see you play more often with us, as you were a fine addition to the roster!

Saphyro : Loyal to the end. From day 1 to the final one, you were always here assisting me. I couldn't have hoped for a better third man of the regiment. You did the absolute necessary to help, even to replace me when I was absent. I just can't list all the things you have done for the regiment, and simple words cannot express my gratitude. You can be proud of all the work done, Saphyro, and get a well derserved rest.

Severus : You were always up to play outside of the event time, which made the regiment's mood better, thank you for that.

Shadey : You stayed and played little time here, but you are the creator of our FSE graphics, and you always helped me for some FSE threads. Thank you for that Shadey!

Sharkie : Having an experienced player like you to join granted us some feedback to improve. You didn't play for so long, but we appreciated your arrival for the Cavalry League!

Soartex : You were the very first person I talked to when it was about to create a regiment. I was hesitating, you proposed your help for the project. Your silent work has to be recognized. You paid for our server for a very long time, you made the permissions on our TS multiple times. You also trained so many people on you free time. It's impressive to realize the amount of time we spent together on this game, every moment in your company are great. You have all of my respect for your achievements in the game.

St0m : Your decision to leave us in the middle of a competition, and join an opponent team disappointed a lot of us I have to say, but both you and me know what you were going through. It belongs to the past now, and I really enjoyed your presence yersterday because afterall, you did so much for the regiment back then.

Strunk : My fellow Strunk, I bless the day you decided you joined us. You represent the ultimate profile of a ranker, dedicated to the regiment until the end, motivated to improve, but most importantly someone who always made the people happy around you. You really do deserve your unique rank of Garde d'Honneur. We started the game more or less at the same time at different regiments, I am glad I leave it while being on your side. Good luck for your Battlefront player career, I will be watching it with great interest!

Tardet : Tardet, I won't forget the low blow you tried to commit against me, know that I am not done with you! In the meantime, I thank you for having played for a small period with us, your experience and your enthusiasm were well appreciated!

Tengou : The man who changed its name every match but never used Tengou. You still were very active for now a long period. Thank you!

The Joker : Our most recent recruit. Like Harris, I feel sorry for you, you definitely are a great person that I would have loved to stick with in the regiment for more time.

Thorvic : Having you in the regiment was a personnal achievement. I admired you a lot as a player, but also as a person : I just only have positive toughts when your name comes to my mind.

Thyrell : We played together at the 11e, and I was so happy to be able to play once again on the same team as you. Your great talent definitely helped the regiment a lot.

Timmy : You wanted to try cavalry, but didn't really stayed for long. Still thank you for having thought about us!

Tival : Your stay was not postitive for the regiment in the end, but I still respect and thank you for what you have done before.

Treiz : You instantly showed a lot of interested to come yersterday, something I appreciated a lot, thank you for that. I discovered you as a person when you joined us, I instantly appreciated you a lot (who wouldn't honestly?). I also pay tribute to the player that you are, I think your success this year just tells everything about how talented you are. We keep in touch my friend!

Troyard : I would have never guessed you would once be part of the regiment. For the time you were here, you did bring a lot of skill and experience when we needed it. Thank you for that!

Tulkas : We know how it ended, both you and I had a discussion about that. But I still thank you for the time passed in the regiment!

Twister : I would have loved to see you improve in cavalry, you definitely had some potential!

Vaggelaros : Your studies made you unable to play any longer, but we won't forget you! You were an active nice player, that I could always count on.

Venom : Very young player with definitely a lot of potential. It's a real shame you didn't keep up with the game.

Walter : You arrived very early in the regiment but went inactive shortly after. Still thanks for your few attendance!

Wlodek : Playing from heavy to hussar wasn't a problem for you. You got called back by DCL when you reformed, but I still enjoyed your presence here in the regiment.

Yenki : One of my first Brigadier. You provided us the first server which was a great help, especially at the start. You then couldn't keep up with game, but I am sure you would be proud of how it looked after!

Yuki : I can't list all the noises you made on TS, but it never bothered your skill, which is quite astonishing. Good luck for what you are about to do in real life mate, I hope I will still keep contact with you. By the way, it's about time you finish your sound mod for NW!

Yuwan : You remain an appreciated man for your dedication. You played during a period which was hard for the regiment, but you always showed up no matter what!

Zahari : I always respected your achievement, and your leading skills. I was happy to have you with us for a moment. You actually took the regiment very seriously, and were fully invested when it came to decide strategy.

Zorius : Your help during the Cavalry League is not forgotten, like for the rest of the people who joined at that time

[close]

It's been 2 fantastic years leading this regiment, with up and down moments of course but I learnt a lot from it. I certainly could have managed some problems better, I apologize for that. Speaking with people from all part of Europe, and even the world just brought me a lot. I could improve my english considerably, and just be less shy towards someone else. (I still keep my french accent honhonhon). I received many kind messages from you guys, it made me very happy and proud. The regiment may disband, but the group we formed will remain. This is maybe a virtual game, but the people we talk to daily, they are real. Maybe it would be about time we really meet ?

The end of the regiment is also for me the occasion to say farewell to the community. I met so many good people, made so many good memories. I may have missed the "best" period of the cavalry community, I still found myself enjoying for 5 years this game. I spent maybe too much time on it, but it's a really rewarding game so I don't mind. Thanks to everyone in the community, I certainly don't know you personally but we shared the same game, the same servers, the same community together. I enjoyed every regiments I joined, every matches I played, every fights I had with another horseman! Whatever the community is going to become now, good luck to the people who would continue playing, you are brave but it's a fun game afterall.

Well then fellow horsemen, goodbye! I wish you all the best!

Have you found the hand with it ?

An internal meeting was held tonight, in which we discussed about the regiment's future.
It has been decided that the 1er will be disbanded after one last symbolic event next week.

I will be writting a post to conclude those 2 years of existence when the disband will happen. In the meantime we thank everyone in the community we won't see anymore, opponents and of course friends of the regiment.

To warm our hearts, I will be hosting a Business Tour tournament this month  8)

9
You are perhaps the best example of a group of dedicated friends who could improve and arrive at the top of the competitive scene.

Farewell then 8th lads, you were formidable opponents but also good friends to chat with. Your achievements will always be remembered!

First of all, I would like to know why have you decided to start this now, when the cav community is barely doing anything relevant instead of past tournaments and stuff.
Around that time, and I believe half a year ago the cav community was more active that nowdays.
That's a valid remark, and I can't give a simplier answer, than that for the past few months, some things changed for me, which is why I am only getting started now. Especially in this pandemic period, it's impossible to know what would happen in the following months.
Despite the lack of activity, if I can do something I like, I shall do it. Twitch is easy to use, matches are still easy to find. I rassure you, if it was a waste of time for me, I wouldn't be doing that.

And thanks for the encouraging comments lads, I really appreciate them!

Hello there!

I was thinking about doing this since a while, it is now an appropriate moment for me to do it. I want to provide more and interesting content to the cavalry community, by streaming and commentating cavalry fights, even friendly ones, that can involve regiments or groupfight teams. I know regiments and players are always eager to review themselves and their performances, and my streams could certainly be in addition, great feedbacks for the teams fighting. Even if there is no cavalry competition occuring right now, I actually believe even the most casual matches are worth to be analysed. The number of details we can observe and analyse, from a regiment or even a precise player is quite underrated. I believe I have enough knowledge cavalry-speaking to provide you interesting commentary. Outside of the useful purpose, I personally take fun doing these, and it always adds a bit of hype and interest for the matches to be streamed of commentated.
I will try to stream and commentate as many matches as possible, with regiments/teams, if they are willing to, of course. I therefore remain opened to any request to stream a cavalry match.

I actually made a first try last sunday, where I did stream a match involving 6e and HvB. I invited Soartex to commentate with me the stream. We were talking french, but I am willing to also stream in english. The idea would be to invite different people with a certain knowledge that could provide interesting informations to the stream, and to maybe share our points of view! If you are interested and motivated, you can for sure contact me on steam, and we will settle a stream together  :D
The Twitch channel's design will surely be improved soon, with the help of formidable people.

Here's the link to my twitch channel. I hope I will be able to stream good amount of matches. I think it's definitely a plus for the cavalry community, I hope people will be interested!

Stay safe and see you soon!
