After the match of course players from the other team could still be chosen for the final team. In the end we will not all be split.

Firstly, neither of us particularly care or are being dramatic so I wouldn't call it drama. I appreciate your offer but I wouldn't be happy with that and neither would the majority of GB players. It will be a lot more fun, fair and beneficial to have a qualifying match I believe. One extra match on top of this NWWC can't be that difficult surely?

If you find it such a struggle to get a team together how do you expect to participate in this tournament? Again you miss the original point, you're going on about the old team and how these players are insignificant as they've never been on the team, you fail to see some of the best players currently.
Complete opposite. In trials no matter how well someone performs you could still choose to not have them in the team. In this match indisputable performance will determine who goes through.
It seems like a cheap way to get in if you ask me, everyone has a chance in trials.

Would this interest you?Sounds like extra and unnecessary effort. Especially as it seems that the majority of significant players support Evan and myself as captain.
The players I would be using then would be who you consider insignificant and the whole point of the match would be to prove otherwise. Capiche?

Exactly, I think what this boils down to is a difference in opinion of whom we believe were in best form at the time. Obviously you would not choose worse players on purpose but as it is in football it's quite subjective who is the best and often statistics will be deceiving and the best performing player will not be one with the most kills but they cannot be ignored completely. I simply offer a second unbiased opinion.

I think you are missing my point as I agree if a player is playing good they get picked if a good player is playing bad they get subbed is how it should be however it is not what I witness. As for consistency of course that is considered but part of that is current form and I feel it is not being taken into enough consideration.

« on: February 11, 2016, 11:52:01 am »Not much I could do about the M-NWWC considering only half the players I had planned to come came, I asked them all the day before and weeks in advance and they said they would come. If they then don't show up not much I can do, half the players we used were "new" players like Jonnyboy, Normanguy, Hypno and Wallie so that renders your point about the old boys club invalid (who didn't perform the best during the M-NWWC). I have nothing against you as such, it's just the past two times you've trialed you haven't been good enough to even get in the team, let alone captain it.
Yes you used new players because a lot of the old boys who are inactive didn't show up but due to players like this on the roster the pool of players to choose from was less. I understand some of the old boys are still better and in no way would I intend to exclude them but I would argue in the past players that are statistically performing better are neglected due to prejudice or simply having more faith in another player because of their past performance. I would like to put results over faith.

In response to the number of posts regarding the GB Co-Cpt position:
Firstly, I should make it clear I have since 2013 played non-steam Mount and Blade. I am not yet inactive but use historical names often. Concern comes from those that know Evan personally and as i stated in my original application I feel this is partially due to the GB team becoming an old boys club. I do understand where many players on the team are coming from that they know Evan and not myself and even in my opinion although I don't know him well I know Evan is a good player and a respectable organised individual. However, I do fear some only feel so strongly with some discontent towards myself as he is their friend and I only want to ensure the team is the best team it can be and does not consider as strongly the personal relations as much as previous years. Part of the reason for concern was the most recent M-NWWC where the GB team was not quite the ideal first team but what could be mustered. I will of course be speaking to Herishey when we are both next online as a team divided will be worse off and what would be best for GB would be to focus on the game.
