General Discussion / Theodin.... Theodink? I don't even know!
« on: March 18, 2015, 03:00:27 am »
I wold like to report an admin of the NA_Groupfighting server by the name of Theodin. Me and a couple of members from the 4e decided to sharpen our skills by joining the NA_Groupfighting server and doing a little melee.

During the time of our joining admin Theodin was on guard. We were aware of his presence and very well knew the rules of the server.

We charged the enemies, our hearts full of courage. Before any melee happens we usually shoot our 1 bullet we are given at the start of every round knowing that it will not kill anybody. Something unusual happened when we took those shots..... we killed an enemy with them. We were stunned to find out we could do this on NA_Groupfighting where everyone knows that it's not possible to get kills with a musket shot.

We were quickly slayed by Theodin. Nothing was wrong about the slays that were handed out for the shooting incident, but he didn't stop there. He began to target 4e members with pointless warnings. He would type in admin chat, "Get in the fight." This was just one of the many warnings we got when we were obviously abiding by the server rules.

Then to top off the cake he permanently banned me for "attempting to shoot the enemies" You know what players do at that start of the round? They shoot their bullet at the enemy or in the air.

Regiments / I want to join a regiment
« on: March 16, 2015, 01:20:14 am »
I asked my friend where I could sign up to join a regiment, but he didn't really have answer for me so I found it myself.

I will just begin by introducing myself.

Honey Bear

Honey Bear (°2004, Calradia, United States) is an NW player who mainly works with performance. By contesting the division between the realm of memory and the realm of experience, Bear absorbs the tradition of remembrance art into daily practice. This personal follow-up and revival of a past tradition is important as an act of meditation.

His collected, altered and own performances are being confronted as aesthetically resilient, thematically interrelated material for memory and projection. The possible seems true and the truth exists, but it has many faces, as Hanna Arendt cites from Franz Kafka. By choosing mainly formal solutions, he tries to develop forms that do not follow logical criteria, but are based only on subjective associations and formal parallels, which incite the viewer to make new personal associations.

His works are based on formal associations which open a unique poetic vein. Multilayered images arise in which the fragility and instability of our seemingly certain reality is questioned. By questioning the concept of movement, he finds that movement reveals an inherent awkwardness, a humour that echoes our own vulnerabilities. The artist also considers movement as a metaphor for the ever-seeking man who experiences a continuous loss.

His works isolate the movements of humans and/or objects. By doing so, new sequences are created which reveal an inseparable relationship between motion and sound. Honey Bear currently lives and works in Uxhal.

I am looking for a 1v1only, MELEE FOCUSED, NOSHOOTINGSPAM, nice and friednly guild that is based in north america.

- I am leaving this place. It was a total shit-hole from the start. I joined a regiment who shared the same characteristic as I did, but not all of them were sons of their dads sister.

I want to say good-bye to Alexander, Chantakey, and Griffin (RIP 72ndSH).

General Discussion / We lost a brother today.
« on: November 18, 2014, 04:59:04 am »
I woke up to find a letter in my fridge. It was from my best friend's mom.
I quickly opened it only to find a tragic paragraph 2 sentences long. It read

   Dear honeybear,

After accident the taxi was upside down. Dead driver’s heart was dangling and thumping, young man's penis was on the dashboard.

Regiments / 53rd (Shropshire) Regiment of Foot [Recruiting EU/NA]
« on: February 06, 2013, 01:31:05 am »

History

The 53rd was raised in 1755 as the 55th but was renumbered in 1757 to the 53rd. The regiment would see its first action when it arrived at Quebec City in May 1776 to help raise the siege of the city by Continental Army troops during the American Revolutionary War. The regiment served in the 1776 campaign under Guy Carleton, 1st Baron Dorchester at the Battle of Trois-Rivières and the Battle of Valcour Island. In 1777 its flank companies (Grenadier and Light infantry) were with Gen. John Burgoyne during the ill-fated Saratoga Campaign. Men from the other eight companies would serve under Maj. Christopher Carleton of the 29th Regiment of Foot during Carleton's Raid (1778) and in 1780 during the Burning of the Valleys campaign. Lieutenant Houghton of the 53rd would lead the Royalton Raid in 1780 burning three towns in eastern Vermont. In 1782 the regiment was linked to the county of Shropshire for recruiting. The Regiment returned to England in 1787.
