1. No shooting. 2. No wallhugging / rockhugging / treehugging. 3. 5 men per team. 4. The match has to be balanced perfectly. 5. Both teams have to stay at spawn at the beginning of a round, and wait for the referee to write "Go" in admin chat before moving out. Referees do not have to ask if ready, however officers might ask for breaks, and they will be granted (max 5 minutes). 6. Matches will be played in first to 8. 7. Matches have to be played with 1 referee. teams have to choose a referee when they organize their match. 8. Matches have to be played on the official servers. 9. Matchweeks last from Monday to the Monday of the week after. 10. Winning a match gets you 3 points. Losing a match gets you 0 points. 11. Each team has to play one match per week. Extras days might be given, but only a few. Do not abuse it and try to play your match during its matchweek. 12. If a team doesn't show up on the announced date of a match, then the other regiment gets a 8-0 win over them. 13. At the end of the tournament, if a winner-deciding match results in a draw, then a rematch has to be played. If the rematch is a draw, then the team with the best rounds difference wins the tournament. 14. Picking enemy weapons and horses is allowed. 15. Behave ! Do not tea-bag, and keep the global chat to a minimum. 16. During a match, referees are to be listened to and obeyed. If you have any complaint to make, wait for the match to end and do it on this thread. 17. Teams are created by yourself. 18. Allowed classes: Hussars and Cuirassiers. 19. There seems to be two solutions with this :
1) You split this League into two : a League 1 with the 5-6 actual regiments left that can bring over 11-12 players, and set the minimum amount of players to that level in this League ; and a League 2 consisting of the smaller regs and CavGF teams with an average attendance of 5-8, and set the minimum amount of players at 5 in that League.
2) You abandon the idea of making a League and as Lightning said, rename the Tournament to a 5v5 Cav Tournament, allowing larger regiments to sign up several teams.
In any case right now the cavalry community is too fragile for a single League event, regiments/teams would surely disband within a 10-12-week period, so it's not viable. Plus, a 5-minimum rule is unbalanced because the size of current cavalry teams and regiments are very unequal, and larger regiments would be hugely penalized from that.
Hope my two cents can lead to constructive thinking and we can decide together, as what's left of the cav community, about the best current event we could and should host.

Good luck with this but with 5 minimum required youd probably get alot more sign-ups if you allow gf style teams. Dont forget lots of regiments disbanded at this point. Maybe it wouldve been smarter to take a different name as the previous cavalry leagues actually had big battles.

I know you Dutch lads always wanted to win something in this game collectively, even though you never liked to admit that and would rather show the established 'yeah whatever idc stupid game amirite'- facade you enjoy to see yourselfes in. I also understand how this miniaturised opportunity - after all the failed leagues, cups and tournaments - looks like a proper opportunity for your little group to finally 'show everyone!!'. Well, I am glad you're team got that chance to shine at last, but I just do not see a regimental league working in this late - and rather sad - stage of the community and the hosts apparently fully agree with me, since they eventually changed the format to non-regimental.
In contrast to what you would like to portray me as, namely the guy still starting Mount&Blade every day desperately and continously joining Cavalry Groupfight waiting for... eh something I guess?, I havn't touched the game the last months outside the handful 4e events and two or three 71st matches (such as tonight, hence the reason why I left cav gf shortly after joining). Though, as you said, I am still around on this forum even though I don't really play anymore, because I watched the cav community evolve and eventually shrink to the almost non-existing state we unfortunately have right now. Observing this led me to my opinion, that currently, you cannot seriously plan a competitive, regimental tournament. A statement I, as pointed out already, seem to share with the organizer.

While you'll find me in agreement with your opinion about a regimental league not working at this current (and possible final) stage, that was not the intended purpose of the meme. You are free to emit your opinion however the manner in which you presented it would lead, atleast to those that know the context of the meme, to believe you are mocking the creators of this tournament. There is a fine line between constructive criticism and nihilistic mockery, which the latter is the general nature of the meme template that you have used to convey your opinion.This, however, is actually something one can (finally) work with and the only part worth responding to. Since you support my opinion regarding the tournament's format, there is no need for further discussion on that note. -I always try to establish as much respect as possible in all our matches, I don't think there has been a lot of overflow on the 6th side for
over the past 2 years. Why then these free messages?
-Why trashtalk freely our team "2", who was made more for ligue 2 than ligue1 ?
-Why trashtalk freely our team "2", when team 1 just beat you 8-6 ?
-Why trashtalk freely our team "2", who don't really try to win, but just to bring another team for the tourney ?
-Why trashtalk freely our team "2", when 4e just merge his two teams, while day of Team 1 vs 4e, they bring 10 players (5 of each teams) ?
-Why trashtalk freely players who just try to take fun on an old game that still enjoy them ?
I'm disapointed by the attitude of certain 4e players, whose I had respect for them, but finally, don't give shit about our community and also respect.
It's not really drama, I know that 4e regiment is still probably better than us in a 15-15, but if we want to piss on you, I have ~7-8 better players than you without training :D
