Just an FYI Tardet this was something that was actually discussed in length on teamspeak with reps from 15th, 55th, 45th and I believe maybe 92nd (I can't remember if he disconnected before or after). The remaing playoff teams in the MRGL.
As per the tournament organisers group (which more information will be coming out about later) we agreed that Blackbeard would have to sit out the next match for either RGL or the next tournament that is under the Organisers Groups banner. We did discuss it being longer but it should be more to set an example first of all than to take the Valve approach of just nuke them. If that makes sense.
As for Herishey his punishment came in the form of exclusion from the hosting staff of regimental tournaments for the foreseeable future. We didn't include groupfighting tournaments as its not what we are trying to cover at this time and obviously everyone knew that NWWC was coming within the next few days and he always puts in a lot of good work and it would be a shame to waste it.
Its a little vague at this time because obviously the regimental organisers group hasn't been announced publicly yet apart from this message. There is a lot of work going into this, such as: Regimental Handbook, Global Ban list, Tournament Rule(s), Cheating/Punishment and a server box just to name a few. Apart from the ban list they are all guidelines, not requirements and is just material to help the community.
I hope this all makes sense. This should provide a little more context as to statements such as this because the group will include more or less all comp regiments +extra so myself and Gi wanted this to be included with it but you have brought it up so makes sense to just touch on it now.
EDIT: Just to add as well, the 27th of course took the default loss and dropped out of MRGL which should be factored into the reprecussions as well.

It has been brought to my attention that this is Jojo13 who was the one behind the recent Doxxing, MM DDoS and FSE 'Infiltration'. It has also been brought up to me that this is still taking place.
Unless it is proven otherwise that this is not the same player, then he will not be allowed to participate in EIC, just as he was barred from MRGL as well.

Was a nice match overall. The first half was a lot of close maneuvering with some straight melee rounds and only 1 shooting round. The second half was even more offensive basically being one volley and melee from both sides. The Nr13 first decided the match winning the first 6 rounds. After that, the 5e won 2 straight ones with the only big comeback happening in round 9 where the Nr13 won a 12v19 melee. Rulebreak wise only 1 OA and 1 FiC round from the 5e, nothing at all from the Nr13. Good and fair match. Good luck to both in the further tournament!

Nice fight with a clear melee for the 31e/13e coalition. One big OA and few FiC but nothing decisive. A lot of people (around 23 Vs 23).
55th 6 - 4 18thI watched the whole second half and assisted first Uni and after Pieter with reffing. 18th you need to understand that running in a circle behind a hill does not undo the camping timer and you need to start listening to the referee's decision without answering it with insults. Sad a 1vs1 takes 85 minutes. Still good luck to both regiments in the further tournament!
So I only jumped in after 8 GMT when the score was 4-3 in favor of the 55th.
Uni had to go for dinner so quickly informed me what had happened with some rule breaking from the 18th, refusing to play by the anti camping rule which resulted into Uni giving the 55th a point during that match.
The bad behavior continued from the 18th as they started to insult the referee's and continue to use the all chat even after being informed several times by the referee's that the all chat now was only for the CO's of the regiments.
After this a slay occured after a 18th member continued to disobey this rule and then insulted again a referee and got a temp ban.
Unicorn can explain in more details the first 8 rounds of this match if need be, but really this was bad sportmanship from the 18th and I hope they will improve from this as such behavior is unprecedented in the EIC.

That is just plain UNACCEPTABLE!! We won't stand for this. You kicked 18th out, and replaced em with 2lr which is fine. The 45e even get a rematch vs the 2lr instead, good for them and I wish them a good match but to take away our hard earned victory from that hellish match, that is just utterly retarded!! You are forcing us to take a 5-5 draw and be at a disadvantage when it comes down to wins or even points in the end for the groupstage or making us fight the 2lr with again throwing away our deserved win and putting us in a bind to struggle for victory again. The only thing you are achieving with this is cucking my regiment once more, Unicorn did his best in this shitshow of a 1v1 that took way to long, the 18th had banned and unregistered people playing and broke camping rules etc as stated in your post AND you are still rewarding them with this 5-5 and punishing us the 55th who did nothing wrong but gave it their all!! That is just laughable! The correct and fair thing to do here if you per se want to revoke that round it would be to void it in its entirety and leave the score at 5-4 to the 55th as the round given by the admin to us could have gone both ways in the end as you said yourself. So if by your logic the round should be revoked and taken away from the end score of the match between the 55th and 18th why would you give it to the other team.. that makes no sense at all. Frankly I will not stand for this, I even arranged a time and date to talk about this subject with Unicorn, you and other parties present. I think many would agree with me be it from my regiment or outside!! I have a lot of respect and know the EIC isn't easy to run but still this is just as unfair as it can get!^

The 45thN got away with blatant RoL early on, and in the last round was simply not filling in the gaps despite the admining threatening nothing was done.
We also got away once with something that I agree was FiC, the admin did nothing.
I was OAd twice, and the admin did nothing to revive me. But when Maskman got shot he healed himself. This is completely unacceptable in my view for an admin in a participating regiment to admin 'himself' in the middle of a live round.

Maskman is ademant that he didn't do it, Dams healed him. But regardless not really that big of an issue even if he did, thats just a stern telling off on steam and thats it really.
Either Fondas or Noobas was the leader of the lights, similar names and its been 8 years in my defense! Haza used to tell me he liked his voice lol
I will take a look at it all and have a chat with Dams afterwards. Dams is someone I haven't really had a lot of chance to observe in reffing especially since I've had no PC and a splint on my wrist for the last week. Some people like Nicoos from 5tesKGR I have sat in during his reffing and tried to give some pointers etc. where needed. Some of the issues is I think some leaders etc. still carry the standards of NWL and although it was prestigious... Its name was big mostly because it was the first, not necessarily the best for the players. So some leaders are more lax than others. People such as Gi and Gaz for example know exactly whats expected but some may not. Its a learning curve that we will deffo overcome. You are right in keeping a uniform standard should be important and it is to me.
P.S: Happy to say that from my own money, only a Retaliator and Hornet so far. But I have guys in our group who have spent more than 4x the price of my car on that game. I own a BMW, not a shite one either.

The match went like I fear a lot of knock-outs matches will go. Very passive plays and a lot of complaining about minor things. But to start, the 17pp/FKG won the first 2 rounds with strong shooting, making the 55th camp round 3. After having discovered their own superiority in the melee of that round the 55th went more for charges, still, both regiments hiding a lot and only coming out when they saw no risk at all. That often lead to rounds taking 3-4 minutes till "they properly started" with out-leading each other. The 55th followed their good melee win with 4 consecutive rounds all won in melee. With the 55th leading 4-2 now, the 17pp/FKG was able to win a melee after a 2 man advantage with the help of "96y tactics" to make the match close again. In the 8th round, the 55th won a 3vs3 at the end of the melee to make it 5-3 following that win with the deciding 6-3. In an one volley and melee round the 17pp/FKG got their 4th round to make the final score 6-4 for the 55th. As said both regiments complained quite a lot about minor things. But the match was actually quite calm from a rulebreaking side, with only 2 OAs and one rambo situation in the last round.
In the last round, Coco and Zenon left their lines to duel each other while their lines were shooting each other on a different part of the map. I slew both of them. Coco felt the need to give me some words for it. I don't take it personally at all and have no real problem with it. Still, I wanna let the organizers decide as it's generally unacceptable behavior. Where do I even begin. First of all, thank you Tardet for reffing, you did an amazing job despite making such crucial decisions. Of course gg to the 96y guys, you played really good and deserved the win in that match. See you in the finals for revenge! ;)
Second of all, I'm just disappointed in how everything went. Lookig back at the video it was indeed a really hard decision. I think it would've been understandable, if we were pissed, if the round got replayed, but we would've accepted it, since thats what the rules say. But I got tilted down to hell when the call was made, that the round will be replayed after the match was finished and we were going to OT. It's just that we played a complete half after the incident happend. Either replay the round after the possible voided round or just continue the match (exactly what we did). It is just bs to be able to replay a round when the match is finished. Especially when the affected team types things like "we have balls" or "we dont have to replay that round" (I don't care if it was an enlisted or an officer, in either way the regiment has to deal with the consequences, even when retards type such things, they are still part of the regiment). That 20 min video referee pause fucked us completely up. People say, that in competitive matches only the ones with good mental win games. We showed great mental, comming back from being 5-1 down. That 20min pause resetted our whole comeback mental which, as I already said, fucked us completly up. 96y were able to reset their mental aswell, since (thats what I feel like) they were tilted to hell. Imo we would've won both french side rounds (very french sides map tbh) and would eventually close the game on the Uk side. I dont want to offense Tardet in any way, since he did, what he thought would be the best for either team, since he was an impartial referee, that did a very good job. But when not only the spectators, but also the host/organiser says, that it's bs to replay a round which took place half an hour before the match ended I feel like it is just an unfairly act. I dont want to look like someone, who just argues now because we lost. The 96y won their rounds very deserving with good melee and shooting in between. We obviously accept the endscore, wish the 96y obviously good luck in their upcomming matches and just hope to get revenge. We're just very very disappointed in how everything went yesterday. That is poor refereeing and behaviour of 96y. Wouldn't have replayed it as Nr13 specially since some 96y members typed they didn't mind it and continued to play.
I know it was a Pieter-like Officer rambo, but Nr13 din't shoot anymore and if you actually know what you are doing you don't stop there as 96y.
Your line will get shot to pieces while forming up and you will never get your shoots of before beeing charged since the lines are too close to each other.
Find an agreement between both regiment leaders and ref directly after this kind of rounds and then move on. But never bitch around after the match, take a loss like a sportsman.
You could have complained after that round but you didn't.
In soccer you cannot complain about Minute 23 after the 90min are played and demand a rematch.
In tennis you cannot complain about a game in the first set after the match and demand a rematch.
If you sign the contract for a new job and don't negotiate a salary you are happy with it is your problem, try next year again.

That 20 min video referee pause fucked us completely up. People say, that in competitive matches only the ones with good mental win games. We showed great mental, comming back from being 5-1 down. That 20min pause resetted our whole comeback mental which, as I already said, fucked us completly up. 96y were able to reset their mental aswell, since (thats what I feel like) they were tilted to hell. Imo we would've won both french side rounds (very french sides map tbh) and would eventually close the game on the Uk side. I dont want to offense Tardet in any way, since he did, what he thought would be the best for either team, since he was an impartial referee, that did a very good job. But when not only the spectators, but also the host/organiser says, that it's bs to replay a round which took place half an hour before the match ended I feel like it is just an unfairly act. I dont want to look like someone, who just argues now because we lost. The 96y won their rounds very deserving with good melee and shooting in between. We obviously accept the endscore, wish the 96y obviously good luck in their upcomming matches and just hope to get revenge. We're just very very disappointed in how everything went yesterday. Especially many of us (and some from the spec/96y) had to go to Marxerishy's 2v2 tournament, so that 20min pause got us on our nerves aswell (german punctuality ;) )
Anyway, thank you again Tardet for reffing, the 96y for playing such a great match and Chriseh for comming by. We will now focus on stomping the lower bracket with our fellow german friends vom the 71st and will see y'all in the finals, when we get our revenge.

I took actions during the round, I slayed Faser for ramboing, I just took a bit long doing that and you don't see it in the video, you only see me scrolling, looking for his name. Eventually, I figured out that regardless of the slay, the advantage gained by the Nr13 in that round was too consequent and that it may be worth a replay, which I addressed to both regiments directly after. But as I pointed out, there is no part of the ruleset covering that aspect (replaying a round) so I went with what seemed to be the most coherent decision for me. If you want to hammer down how much of a poor referring that was, I am not going to stop you. Would you had been the referee, you may have deemed the replay to have an immediate effect but mistakes can and will happen, and it's always easier to make a judgement on somebody's action afterwards.
Well, no hart feelings but seeing things in chat like "we have balls" and "ez match" really pisses you of if the match was as close and also enjoyable as yesterday. I don't want to repeat the all the points from Chainsor, after watching Tardets POV that round was rambo and also should have been resetet (I'm sorry that I didn't saw that from the back of our line while getting FIC'ed, I would have pronounced a reset for the 96y as well). Second of all, I'm just disappointed in how everything went. Lookig back at the video it was indeed a really hard decision. I think it would've been understandable, if we were pissed, if the round got replayed, but we would've accepted it, since thats what the rules say. But I got tilted down to hell when the call was made, that the round will be replayed after the match was finished and we were going to OT. It's just that we played a complete half after the incident happend. Either replay the round after the possible voided round or just continue the match (exactly what we did). It is just bs to be able to replay a round when the match is finished. Normally I don't complain about the all chat and what people post in it, but if the ref tells both regiments to not use it, it is really annyoing seeing every round messages from the enemy team to "bait" you about your both countries. If you personally think it's funny to drop the N word in the chat multiple times, try to bait germans about our history and spams in polish in the all chat even after the admin said "english only pls", go ahead but please do me a favour and don't typ all this shit in the all chat. That's the only reason why there was and still is no gg from me for this match.

The last round of the first half was taken by the 45thN. In the second half, the playstyle from both regiments became more passive waiting out the camp timer 3 times in that half. After the 45thN first made it 4-2 and later 5-3 the 96y was put under enormous pressure. But with 2 incredible shooting rounds, the 96y made it 5-5 and forced an at times unlikely overtime. The first overtime round looked already won for the 96y but at this point, the 45thN pulled of some god-tier shooting to turn it around and to take the lead once again. Maybe pushed from that turn around the 45thN clearly got the upper hand and took 2 comfortable rounds to make it 8-5 and decide the match in their favor. The match was not fast speeded but also not too bad. 3 camp timer but apart from that quite close engagements. Only some very minor rulebreaks. Good luck to the 45thN in the further tournament!

Really weird match. After the 77y took home the first round, the 13e/31e took the following 4 to make it 4-1 in the halftime. 13e/31e basically went to melee as soon as possible even over some longer distances and also won the melees, being mostly down when they arrived in the first half. The second half was a bit more shooting but mostly just volleys over medium range, no single shots, and stuff. 77y in half 2 also only won round 7 with the final score being 8-2 for the 13e/31e. The whole match was really weird tho. Bad angles from both sides, no real attempts to outlead each other, and big chokes. Wouldnt have guessed it's a knock-out match in the final stage. No rulebreaks at all and only 27 minutes of playing time. Good luck to the 13e/31e in the further tournament!

Explaining in length what happened throughout the encounter so that people who were not present can get an accurate picture of what happened is honestly always very much appreciated, nevertheless, I don't think it was really necessary to imply that this match wasn't necessarily 'playoff material'. As someone who often reads your match recap in detail, it has never struck me that you would give such a personal opinion on the way things unfolded but maybe I have simply not paid attention enough.

Congrats to the 92nd for taking the win vs 15th today. First half going 4-1 in the favour of 15th but unable to close out in the 2nd half losing 6-4 overall.
Will be doing some content stuff to to sumarize this EIC season and the results. As well as also speak about some points of contention such as the double elimination format.
Possibly now is not the time in NW to be doing double elimination formats like we did for the other seasons of EIC. But I still think some of the lower bracket matches were actually incredibly close and interesting and I enjoy watching regiments punch above their weight. But in heinsight it still ended up with the 15th, 92nd, 45th and 13e reaching the top 4 which I think most would say is expected. Anyone have any thoughts on the subject? (obviously 15th members won't like it as they would have won xD... Sorry?)
