Since 2011, created by Verdieb, le 2e Régiment de Grenadiers de la Garde is the oldest Regiment de Grenadier of French community. |
Lieutenant Verdieb took the lead and after 3 months the regiment was already feared for its discipline and melee skills. Unfortunately, in october 2011 Verdieb and other officers of the IVe Corps left the corps and created the 14e Régiment d'infanterie de Ligne, the famous one ! Stéphane led the regiment from March 2012 to October 2018, then delegated this role to Sous-Lieutenant ToxicDc who led the regiment for several months, before leaving the regiment in the hands of Sergent Major Owindd. Since then and with the help of his second-in-command Sergent Dams, the 2e consolidated itself a more than deserved place as a Historical regiment of the French community. In May of 2020, Lieutenant Owindd took the decision to make the 2e Régiment de Grenadiers de la Garde a competitive regiment, a first for the IVe Corps D'Armée Français, which had always favored stability over competition. A new day has risen for the IVe and is now rising for the 2e. Surrounded by new players, and old ones drawn in by melee and groupfights, the 2e is now motivated and ready to become what it once was, a regiment of great melee skill, determined to win titles. Those ambitions will necessitate volition and diligence but this is precisely what motivates us to continue playing Mount & Blade : Napoleonic Wars. We will welcome all players drawn to this great ambition with pleasure, french or not. After the holidays of 2021 Adjudant Owindd let the lead of the regiment to MaxenceIV and Napoleonswar. Since this day the regiment recruited a lot of new players and start to be the first regiment in number inside the IVe Corps ! In June 2022, the 2e Grenadiers left the IVe Corps and become for the first time an independant regiment. Now, the regiment is calmly looking to his futur wishing the best to the IVe Corps. Yesterday was an Historical day for our regiment, we decided after 9 years of NW to switch our vision of this game.
The 2e Grenadiers de la Garde will put all his forces to be a competitive regiment with a lots of gf's, 1vs1, and tournament.
Everyone looking for this kind of gameplay and for a good opportunity of making a new strong and competitive regiment will be welcome, even the EU !
