I know but with the un-balanced argument, a composure of the Anglo-Zulu war, Boer war, the war with the French foreign legions etc.

Very enthusiastic, I don't know how different it would be from NW, the chassepot and dreyese needle rifles are both black power? as far was I know, also I believe the french used far superior small arms, but the Prussian used far superior breech loading artillery. Dam modern warfare it's so hard to balance =P

I will expand on my comment on differences what I mean is how many of the NW assets can you use and still keep realism, examples of
similarities:
-Major European powers in a similar theater of war. (Can you use the same the same buildings?)
-Black powder is primary propellant as well as paper cartridges still used. (Can you use the same smoke effects and sound?)
-Line formations.(Will be attractive to current community)
-Fairly similar uniforms.(Can the same backpacks, cartridge cases still be used and could you use a large amount of NW uniform assets?)
(Also I never released the full extent to which the union and confederates did imitate French uniforms, the guys below do look a lot like the 14th booklyn.)

I made two basic needle rifles:  Dreyse and Chassepot for Boshin mod and they had a fearsome rate of fire compared to just 10-20 years before.

What ever happened to the War of 1812 Mod that was in the works. It seemed like such a logical progression from the Napolenic Wars. It takes place in the same time period but in a different theater (North America). The only thing you would have to do is make the US faction and tweak the British faction a little.

Pretty sure there is no mod team for a mod like that atm they just showed of some skins they made in there spare time (It seems I can't tell for sure).

A "German Unification Wars Mod" would be awesome. Covering the three wars that led to the final unification of Germany:

The Second Schleswig War (1864)
Prussia & Austria vs Denmark

The Austro-Prussian War (1866)
Prussia vs Austria (both supported by their minor German allies)

The Franco-Prussian War (1870-1871)
Prussia (and minor allies) vs France

Besides finding a modding team that could make this, there will be a huge task  ahead for those making such a mod when it comes to balancing. The Prussian Dreyse-gun (needle gun) as well as the French Chassepot rifle are both about four times as fast to fire as the minié-rifles that the Danish and Austrian armies were equipped with at the time. And even though the Danish and Austrian rifles were a bit more accurate, it doesn't  make up for the superior firepower of the Prussian and French rifles. Ofc one could then chose simply to make a mod for the Franco-Prussian war, where the infantry weapons were closely matched, but I think it would quickly get a bit boring with just two teams. But that might just be me.

I'm seeing a lot of major Total Conversion style suggestions being thrown around here already, but what I want it a something small and client side.

Basically, Officers are really hard to make out in line battles especially for people who aren't hardcore history nerds like ourselves. Props to the realism of it all but it makes organising and playing some regiments annoying especially cav when people can't tell who is the Officer.

I suggest either a dedicated Officer reskin mod, or a more simpler version of returning the Bicorn hat to most of the Napoleonic Wars officers with too identical shakos. The latter is incredibly easy, reskinning the Austrian Artillery Officers and Crews Bicorns might be the hardest part.

I had an idea of a mod set in the 18th century but having calradian factions instead.

Well I had an idea for a mod that would basically be the "Waterloo Mod" the idea is to replace all of the factions that weren't at Waterloo and replace them with ones that were. So for example replace the Austrians with the Netherlands and replace the Russians with Brunswick. And then edit the current in-game uniforms to Waterloo period accurate uniforms. And then have detailed maps of the different places on the map. We already have Quatre Bras, La Haye Sainte and Hougoumont, we could also add places like Ligny, the allied center ridge, Plancenoit, Papelotte, and maybe La Belle Alliance although I'm not sure if any fighting took place there.

Also I had an idea for a gamemode called "Linebattle Mode" where it would function very similarly to a conquest/battle mode but each side would have a "camp" where there would something like a baggage train or a camp where soldiers could heal and grab more ammo. Basically it would be a giant map and it could be played like this, one team is the "attacking" team and the other is the "defending" team. The defenders have certain points along the "lines" that they need to hold against the attackers, if all of the points are taken this basically means the defending army is routed and they lose. But if they manage to kill off the attackers before that happens then they win. An example would be to imagine a large Waterloo map. The defending team has to hold Papelotte, La Haye Sainte, the center ridge, and Hougoumont.

80 years of war sounds gut :).

During that time the Spanish ''Armada'' or something also invaded Brittain so you can have more then 2 factions.
The war also had sieges and everything, guns and pikes. I think it would be really interesting to have something like that!

I like it, I have still a trauma that they added Russia on Mount&Musket, I really thought they would add the Netherlands, since it had UK, France and Prussia and the game was named mm waterloo.

I think a Waterloo mod that adds the Dutch and Brunswick factions and loses Austria and Russia is a great idea. As far as maps. I'd be willing to do some models, we would need Beta's skins as they're by far the nicest Dutch skins available. Also the brunswick skins that I saw would be a good help. And we always have Duuring for historical accuracy. We would just need a coder. And some Dutch voice commands :P

I had an idea of a mod set in the 18th century but having calradian factions instead.

But I think it would be easier to balance the Franco-Prussian war mod because both side had breech loaders. In the german unification war, prussia was the only side that used breechloaders. The other countries used front loaded muskets (I think, not sure). Either way I would be happy.

hmm yeah and in the second schleswig war Denmark also got support from their fleet which would be really hard to make so a franko-prussian war would be good

And you assume we don't have any of those skills. I started and ran the Graphics Improvement Project (GIP) for Hearts of Iron II a couple of years ago, and the last release of that, which I was involved in, got app. 250.000 downloads, so I have a bit of experience.

The reason I play NW is because there isn't alot of games set in this era with this gameplay style. And I want for example a Franco-Prussian war mod because it isn't any out already.

Indeed.
The reason I play NW is because there isn't alot of games set in this era with this gameplay style. And I want for example a Franco-Prussian war mod because it isn't any out already.

And it would still work well in the M&B engine because the guns are single shot and melee is still prominent.

First because none of them can have nearly as many players in one server as warband, and because they are FPS only games. Most of them are also arcade type of games or singleplayer. Warband have a nice combat system which other games haven't (althought melee combat in ww2 was not as often, but was still used). I also doubt that clans in other games are as much organized or as numerous as the ones in NW. There's not many games which have traditions on making regular in-game events like here. The community in most mainstream games doesn't value historical realism but metagaming kind of playing style.

While it's a nice idea i just don't think it would be fun at all to have breech loaders vs muzzle loaders, especially for the muzzle loading side, so people wouldn't play those events, making it not worth the effort.

I'm willing to do Units from the southern German states such as Bavaria though.

This is as it appears in l'Aigle and I find it more accurate for a few reasons
1. The lock mechanism isn't held close to the face which would prevent blowing up your face when the weapon discharged
2. The stance with the feet closer together is more common to what you would see in a napoleonic line infantryman rather than the spread out stance we currently see
3. The character seems to turn his face away when the weapon fires which is a nice realistic touch because it keeps you from getting shit in your eyes or even worse losing them if the weapon failed or the sparks reached your eyes.

Yea... But their arms! They look like sad little T-rex arms, to me it looks incredibly unnatural.

A really nice mod would be an animation pack... As follows:

Running with a gun should stay how it is, since when running with a gun of the era, it was incredibly hard to keep it at shoulder, and would do serious damage to shoulder from the bumps. It would bruise the shoulder severely, and when the soldier shoots, his shoulder would get even more damaged from the massive recoil of the guns. However, let's say we do want to change the running animation of Infantry Muskets, I say this one is great...

A polished version of this...
Remove the stiffness, leave the arm going over the chest to hold the gun to the shoulder. This is how many soldiers ran with muskets. It was a slightly more comfortable, and less hurtful, way to run with a musket.

Walking with a musket should entirely be changed. The way FSE did NW's animations really annoyed the shit out of me. MM had great animations, and if they just polished those, it would have been very nice. The animation should have been holding the gun from the butt, and keeping it on the shoulder. Or, hugging the gun to the chest with your arm. I shall show both...

I figure this is the opposite. This is sort of "hugging" the gun, and pressing it to the shoulder, I'm unsure of the actual name of the stance. This was more popular with the more prestigious armies, such as France, Prussia, some Russians (often Guard Units and Grenadiers), Spain, etc.

In a prior post by KillerMongoose, the L'aigle weapon firing animations are near perfect. The only problem is how they hold the gun when firing. Back in the day, the soldiers were told to keep their elbow up, supposedly to control the recoil of the shot. Wasn't very effective. L'aigle's animations are that of a modern shooting style, which does control recoil of the gun. However, FSE did good leaving the elbow up when the player shoots, but not having the players' had turn when shooting. Without turning your head, the flash from the gun could blind you, along with the sparks from the hammer if the gun is not held and shot right. I'd love for someone to make these animations as I said, as for rifles, musketoons, etc., leave them how they are, if possible. Since their smaller guns, they should keep the more "loose" animations for carrying them, since the soldiers historically had no real way of holding that type of gun. I'm sure, the British made their Riflemen hold their guns like that of a lineman, but the baker rifle was also longer, so it was easier and more comfortable to hold at shoulder.

Well given the enthusiasm in this thread after the next AZW update i think i will develop a Franco Prussian war mod. If it is successful I could develop it into the Austro-Prussian War and the Second Schleswig War (Prussian Danish war).

You can add variations to animations by simply adding more than one animation to the entry in module_animations.

If you look at the first entry in the life, "stand", you'll see it has four variations and four more commented out.

If you're wondering if you can have different animations for specific weapons of the same type, then no, animations can't be assigned on a per item basis.

EDIT: and btw if it gets succesful and you  it into the Austro-Prussian War and the Second Schleswig War (Prussian Danish war) you should know that the danes used french napoleonic wars muskets  ;)

While it's a nice idea i just don't think it would be fun at all to have breech loaders vs muzzle loaders, especially for the muzzle loading side, so people wouldn't play those events, making it not worth the effort.

I'm willing to do Units from the southern German states such as Bavaria though.
ok and yeah it would be too unbalanced with the breech loaders and muzzle loaders

Or, a Roman Mod based around the first Punic War. Roman Empire (Was not a republic yet, I don't think) vs. The Carthaginian Empire. "The 1st Punic War"

Or, a WWII mod, based on the Eastern Front in Europe. Germans vs. Russians. "WWII: Eastern Front"

Maybe even, a medieval mod? Based solely in the UK with 5 factions... Kingdom of England, Kingdom of Wales, Danish Raiders, Kingdom of Scottland, and Kingdom of Ireland. "Supremacy"

A War of 1812 Mod would be excellent for NW. I am shocked that the first attempt died for lack of a coder since I think code changes would be so minimal...reducing factions to 2, changing the descriptions on the menus etc. Gameplay would remain the same. New models required would also be few in number; some american hats, a tomahawk, a long rifle, half stocking the British Baker rifle so it looks like a US Harpers Ferry, and clipping the point of the British model 1796 saber so it looks like a US Nathan Starr saber. The biggest task would be the skinning of the US units, the Canadian Militia, some Native American warriors, and tweeking some of the British skins. As far as maps go I have already made five of them, all forts. I wish someone who is good at skinning would pick it up again.

Then change the skins and add some if needed, for example: the Russian grens didn't change much I beleave, so you can just keep those or edit them a little bit. Also: If there were mods in progress, but they quit their work. You might get some skins from them?

As we all know, uniforms changed a lot during the Napoleonic wars, and I've always found 1790's uniforms much fancier and good looking than 1810's. Therefore, my idea is the following:

A full skin pack, covering all nations, in which we go back to 1795's uniforms. Ergo bicornes all over the place, British using their fancy lapel'd uniforms, French royalist regiments marching around and Austrians getting their arses kicked.

I've always found the short jackets and shakos of the Napoleonic era to be really pleasant to look at and it looks more fitting of a soldier to me. I do love the high gaiters of the 1700s though, they look a lot better than the short gaiters of the 1800s

Ive already started on a few regiments. But its going to be hard to make a skin pack using nw skin settings, since alot of regiments use the same pants in 1812-> setting

You can do what I did for 29th skins. Delete the pants completely, then paste them individually on each uniform as part of the coat model. It worked wonders on my skins.

Yes i know about that trick too.... But te problem is the hats first of all. And some pants will take ages to copy paste which makes it look a big file. But mainly the hats.  But its possible

Making a mod takes alot of time, before you are done. L'Aigle will most likely be out, also M&B Bannerlord is coming out this year I think/hope. And, there are tons of other mods in progress and coming out.

Basicly, if you make a mod for NW, there is a big chance nobody will play it during the fact there are tons of other mods coming out and allot of guys will swap to L'Aigle and M&B Bannerlord.
So if you do it, I hope you won't waste your time ;)

Although in all seriousness, a successful ancient era mod complete with Romans, Gauls, Britons, Picts, Greeks, Carthaginians, and Germans would be nice. I love Pictish warriors, they're quite the badasses.

I have been messing around with Japanese stuff but every time i look at code my head hurts before i even do anything.  ;D But it's a very intrsting time so i bet some one will  ;)

Yeah, the idea is to heavily focus on the Imperial and Shogunal armies during the war. Each army will have their Western retainers and Samurai auxiliaries, of course. And, possibly have an addition of a nearly all Samurai faction, to keep a heavily traditional army, for people who want to play as them. It could actually work very well with the Warband engine. The only thing is making scene props that fit the time period. Unless of course, the mod focuses strongly on the land battle, with little to no props, other than trees, hills, rivers, etc.

True. Scene props would only ever really be need in city areas ect. Apart from maybe a shrine or temple,something like that to add effect. I always imaged  it as the new Japan(Armed and trained by west troops) and the old clans(Set in there ways,ie no modern weapons.)

True. Scene props would only ever really be need in city areas ect. Apart from maybe a shrine or temple,something like that to add effect. I always imaged  it as the new Japan(Armed and trained by west troops) and the old clans(Set in there ways,ie no modern weapons.)

No one will ever take those traditional units, then.
If the technology were the same than in Napoleonic wars then it will be factible, but not in the Boshin war, not with breech-loading rifles, repeating rifles and machine guns.

If you had bows against muskets you'd just need to make the bows not so OP as in native, Archery is my hobby and the guys in native MP have skills that only the best have on a good day.

That Samurai armor is cool, but Samurai during the late 1800s didn't wear that much armor. That's more heavily set on the Sengoku Jidai period of Japan during the early 1600s.

Now that we're speaking about samurai and stuff.
I've been thinking about making a sengoku jidai mod that specificly focus on MP. Mainly based on NW so it'll be easier to pick classes and all that.
This way we could see historical units with the right leaders and banners and all that, which I haven't seen yet in any other sengoku mods.

Coding wise, I only know really basic C#. But then again, I guess that isn't the biggest problem.
Need to get around to learn more.

Well the example you used in NW is of a person standing still. So that matter on the wind.
The example you used. If I see it correctly is a person walking/running. And I don't think you can change the direction. Though I might be wrong.

I know it isn't really the same, no fantasy things, from what I remember the roman faction is not included, and the technology level is a bit too high, but have you tried Brytenwalda?

I have tried Brytenwalda but I really don't like the combat. Both ranged and melee combat are so awkward and messed up. I like a lot of the features but the poor quality of combat just turns me off from the mod

PW game of thrones based with NW graphics and less then 8 city's (Smaller map) so we don't lagg to hell. Or obviously create it so you can have 8 castle's without dying of lagg (:

The Setting: During Spanish War of Independence during Napoleonic Age
The Factions: The British Empire and the Kingdom of Spain vs The French Empire
The main game type: Siege
The Goal: The attacking team must break through the defenders opposition and once they take the city or town or fort, the defenders then spawn as defenseless peasants who must escape lines of fire. If they all die, the attackers win. If at least one can survive, the defenders win.
Additions to Graphics needed:Blood, enhanced sound and i would assume enhanced death animations since that is the main focus at the end.
Units/Characteristics we must see:An enhanced 95th Rifles, more Sharpe-like

Who were lead to believe they were immune to western weapons, Odd thought that, and then besieged the western powers embassy's which reached 55 days, that was most of the conflict until a relief force was sent to China to save them, oddly consisting 8 major nations which would be at each others throats for the next 70 years or so; Great Britain, The German Empire, The Imperial Russian Empire, Imperial Japan, the French Third Empire, Italy, the Austrian empire and the United States, which lead to extraditing of the Empress Dowager who supported the Boxers.

Interesting conflict.

yea but it wouldnt be much of a Boxer rebellion addon without boxers. But like you said, the western powers are a bit more interesting and it would be really cool to have a Eight Nation Alliance faction with atleast one troop from each country.

Replacing the Prussian war cry requires you to replace the Austrian one as well. Now, I don't know about you but I'd rather my Germans spoke German.

Someone should do some new skins and models for the weapons.
I've gotten bored of the current one and a reskin would be nice.
You could re-do the musketoon so it looks more like a blunderbuss for example.

Anglo Zulu war - Breech loaders, very OP arcade style
Blood and Iron - Realistic Breech loaders
Bello Civili - Not even firearms
So only NaS has muskets, and they're not flintlock or matchlock but percussion cap.

The better question how many ACTIVE musket mods are there? There are many but many die out after the flame of "my pants errupted because of the mod release". Roman mods are the same, not excluding the old mod i used to work on when it was reborn the first time Mount and Gladius. The there is imperator and so on and so on.

In all seriousness, mods are never finished, there is always place for improvement. I think you meant none will be properly developed or released. There are many mods around that can't finish or egin because of lack of skillful people or skills. Most of the time it's just to get attention or they see it in their minds, but don't have the skill, the head developer always forgets to get a team who knows what they are doing, instead of only making a thread with a loading screen and flag change. That is not a full mod nor does it show much skill in the modding team.

N&S Gettysburg was announced to be released as a continuation of the old N&S.
AZW is undergoing redevelopment by the team.
Blood & Iron is being actively developed by Willhelm for a new release soon.
Bello Civil was updated to 2.0 with Egypt faction.

If you consider the only decent team only for one mod despite others like BC and N&S having FSE developers and modders like Docm30 working on these projects you are mistaken.
Now the last sentence has some truth to the statement, some people do play for a week and leave the module affairs. The community holds everything together for annual events.

Iron Europe is highly anticipated as a NW mod should be that is actively developed and succeeding in their goal before public release.

A mod is never dead until the entire community looses interest in the theme and the developers quit development alltogether.

The no smoke from firearms/cannons can be easily done by just disabling your particle effects in your options...  ;)

Most of that can be done client side, i already have a tracer mod out which turns the bullets into giant red balls.

The Russians had either precussion cap or flintlocks. They were both smoothbored though while the allies had precussion cap rifled muskets.

You can also give the French and British lines the option of using the slightly older guns with the weapon selection option too. While it might not be 100% Historically accurate it can still be considered fun plus the option is there for those who like to bleed for their fun. 

From what I have seen mods set in a single era with only two armies don't last long, I honestly think It would be easier to base mods on eras instead of singular wars and events. You get more interest and can add more content.

Well I came up with an idea for a non-gaming mod, but rather a 'cinematic' mod for NW, that can be used for recording more complex machinimas or clan recruitment videos.

Basically, a mod in which we add to the game lots of 'drill' and 'parade' animations and weapon poses, such as a real "shoulder arms", "present arms", "charge bayonets", "port arms", "trail arms", etc. Plus, adding detachable bayonets to the weapons, different sword poses for mounted cavalry and various unarmed poses would improve the realistic feel of the game.

Also, making bots walk instead of run may help to make them keep line cohesion while moving around, and being able to spawn flags in commander battles would be nice too.

What do you chaps think? Bear in mind this mod isn't supposed to be played, but used as a tool for recording fancy stuff.

I love this idea, although why not simply utilise the battle formations kit and add some additional *parade* commands so that one can play NW with this as a side. One other thing I've missed (unless I just haven't been looking hard enough) was some form of "cinematic cam" which basically makes the camera smooth, easier to move on a plane, not so jittery for those Peter Jackson shots of bots mindlessly killing each other...

I'm sure a camera speed can be coded, and the rest like animation can be done seperately, except for the shoulder arms, that part I haven't seen done, since switching rifle holding hands is more of a taboo. But te community always seems to surprise me with more things.

Well, about the cinematic mod thing, we would need the help of at least two or three animators, plus a coder to put in all the different hotkeys in the game.

Sadly, I have no idea on how to do either. My only contribution could be making skins to add a bigger regimental variety (NCO ranks, damaged uniforms, hat choices, etc)...

It's not always to just make mods.
It also has it's educative value. I used MnG to learn how to do what I do today. Your predictions only last for the first few days, so a short run, but you don't see the long run.
Secondly, who said the community was dissapointed? Are you, silentman, the new community speaker?
Honestly, I question if people even want mods to be maid? I keep asking myself cause, a new dev makes a new thread, BAM instantly becomes a torture thread to the user/developer, instead of helping the user with the mod or supporting him? How can you say you want a mod to be maid whilst you don't even give a try or automatically lose hope and give up because of small things? and if you do give one try and then say it's dead simply cause you didn't like it? How can one just say on the first release that the game will never become better?
I seriously am losing hope in a community like this, where the pessemists take the lead on arguments. What happened to being optimistic and helping developers make yours and his dream come true? I never had that kind of response in Talesworld.

The community is tired of being disappointed? Surely the modders are tired of being disappointed. They spend months, maybe even years, trying to make a good mod which people will enjoy. The resulting product is played for a few weeks/months or so and then the community goes "well that wasn't worth the wait". How does that make the developers feel? Their work thrown away by insensitive community members (such as yourself, I imagine), and when they endeavour to improve the mod, the community says "why bother?". What can you expect from a game ran on a crappy engine?

A Sharpe-themed overhaul mod.

Reskin several units in the game to some of the uniforms from the Sharpe series, for example:
French Voltigeurs = Brigade Loup Infantry
French Dragoons or Hussars = Brigade Loup Cavalry
British Line Infantry = South Essex
Real Compania Irlandesa
The hilariously inaccurate French(/Polish?) lancers
British Horse-Guards = Provosts
British light infantry = The Dutch jaegers from Quatre Bras

Also replace all of the in-game music with the sexy sexy 80s music from the Sharpe soundtrack

Reskin the 95th Riflemen to have the chosen-men armband
Give the 95th Rifle sergeant a 9-barreled volley gun (just a reskin, doesn't actually have 9 barrels)
Sharpe-style texture for the 95th Rifle officer complete with heavy cavalry sword

Why haven't something like this happened before? How about a new reloading animation for rifles and any musket that doesn't have a bayonet attached. It would be the spit and load technique. If it is impossible to allow the animation to play, I would still like to see that happening.

Hello sir. I'm big fan of many of your M&B modes and I played many of them. I noticed the most amusing modes are historical modes. I'm still playing GABRILDURO's 1755, 1776 and 1860 modes. WWI, WWII, Century of War and Thirty Years War modes are cherry on top. I believe historical modes attract a great deal of attention than the other modes and I want to see historical modes.

I tried this but just got unexpected crashes on launch directed to my action file.

I simply tried removing the lines

For all falls, but that caused crashes, so then I removed all of it including fall_chest_front fall_abdomen_hold_front etc etc.. Still crashes.

If you know what you're doing more than I do feel free to download it and give it a go, beware I use mods so the action file might make you crash anyway.

I was intented to make such mod myself, but for now I am totally busy with Crimean War mod and I don't know if I will make another mods after finishing it. So I give this crazy idea away:)

Storyline: idea is like in "Hard to be a God (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_to_Be_a_God) and in The Warlock in Spite of Himself (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Warlock_in_Spite_of_Himself) (btw mods, based on these books will be great). Something happened in the future - someone brought in Kalradia bunch of comics (or conducted Internet access) and medieval people, were so excited, that comics and movies about superheroes became too popular, so there are too many cosplayers, and they are fighting, proving that their favorite heroes are better, and not so big amount of sane people oppose and resist them. And also this speeded up progress, so there is some modern stuff.  Player is agent of powerful peacekeeping institution from Earth, and he must find out, what happened here and unite disjunct factions in one nation, it is up to him how.
Factions:
Marvel Heroes, Marvel Villains, DC Heroes, DC Villains, Star Wars Heroes, Star Wars Villains, Star Trek Heroes, Star Trek Villains, TMNT Heroes, TMNT Villains, Tolkienists-Heroes, Tolkienists-Villains, Reenactors (of all periods of history), Other Universes (cosplayers of Pokemons, Avatar, Adventure Time, Game of Thrones, Terry Pratchett's books, Starship Troopers, different Anime, Mad Max, Firefly, Terminator, Transformers, Aliens, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Half-Life, cowboys and indians and others universes) and Sane People.
Heroes factions are always hostile to Villains factions, Marvel factions are always hostile to DC factions, Star Wars factions are always hostile to Star Trek factions, Sane People are always hostile to all cosplayers.
Features:
- Comics style (fonts, windows of dialogs, inventory etc.)
- Common cosplayers are in costumes of minor characters (like Doombots, Stormtroopers, or Foot ninjas, Orks etc.)
- Instead of Lords - Bosses, in costumes of main characters (like Iron Man, Batman, Darth Vader etc.)
- Sane People - policemen, horse policemen, workers, doctors, teachers, firemen and other professions
- NPC - from those characters, who are single or don't have their followers (like John Rambo)
- Instead of pretenders to the throne - cosplayers of rival single characters, who want to be leader of their faction (like Captain America wants to be leader instead of Iron Man) and cosplayers, who think that their costume is better than leader of faction wears.
- Forts and towns - like in proper comics and universes - Gotham, Metropolis, TMNT Lair, Death Star, Mordor, Ank-Morpork etc.
- Weapons - just regular melee and ranged medieval weapons, which looks like as in comics.
- Books - different comic books.

Cosplayers and not actually superheroes - because they are common people and so there is no need to sript superpowers or make new skeletons, all creatures are just costumes and so it is possible to take models from other mods and games:)
I think it will be mod with tons of fun and easter eggs xD

I would love to see a mod based on the early part of the Mahdist war (1881-1885). I believe there was going to be a general one that would include the Afghan, Mahdist and Zulu Wars but that became the Anglo-Zulu War reloaded (the mod I play the most may I add).
  If there ever was one to be made it would be best to have three factions, Britain, Egypt and the Mahdists. Britain fought Egypt during the Urabi Pasha revolt so that conflict would be represented as well.
  The Mahdist War is quite an interesting one as there was such a mixture of uniforms used by the British Army. Some regiments fought in red (the last war in which it happened I believe, save for the odd individual or small unit in later conflicts), others were in grey uniforms, some in khaki made in Britain and other regiments were sent from India wit their India style Khaki uniforms, not to mention it was the first war in which we brought in large numbers of troops from around the Empire, including Canadians, Australians and Indians.

If any mod maker is out there not doing anything than can you think about making a mod about the Irish Revolution of 1916. Called the Easter Rising. It would be cool to see and the maps could be in Dublin areas and countryside areas/rural areas. It would be coo to see this so please consider this if youre a good mod maker and not doing anything.
