Disciplined and ready for anything, the Marins are an elite unit in every sense of the word.

The ranks of the Guard Seamen are filled with the best soldiers the French army has to offer. Chosen for their imposing height, good conduct and loyalty,
these men have excellent morale and a positive effect on the morale of  friendly regiments. Their discipline is exemplary; their reload times and the accuracy
of their musketry are the envy of many.

Historically, the Seamen of the Guard were formed as a result of a decree by Napoleon. They were originally intended for action as part of the planned
invasion of Britain, but when these plans were put aside they took a place in the Imperial Guard. In a few short years these men had developed a wide
variety of skills that made them indispensible to the Emperor. He commented that “When occasion required they proved equally valuable whether as
sailors, soldiers, artillerymen or engineers; there was no duty they could not undertake.”

Historically, the Marins  were a huge part of Napoleon’s Imperial Guard, they were Napoleon’s private crewmen originally intended to be the first to land in an invasion against england. Later, once it became clear that an invasion of england was impossible due to the british naval superiority, the Marins were turned into elite troops of many specialties. They could do anything and everything with excellent efficiency, and as such the Emperor inducted them into his personal ‘Old Guard’ troops.  As a community we have huge shoes to fill because these men where the elite of the elite, the best of the best. They believed they were the best troops on earth..and they were right. We work hard in building trust and a dedicated group of members so that in the field of battle we can perform as well as the Marins of days gone. Yeah I understand, I was just curious if the Marins as an entire regiment felt the same way. Regardless, I hope something can be worked out.

I don't know much about France, but I know that there were Guard Marin infantry and artillery units, maybe find a way to differentiate between the two?

There was only one battalion, and the battalion had multiple equippages (crews), of which each were infantry and artillery contingents.

Yeah, there are a bunch of really neat French naval units, the unit I mentioned before, the Naval artillery regiments were really unique, had really cool uniforms, and saw a pretty bit of action, maybe that would be a good choice?

We were going to some events, but every here and there. Trust me, we have been revived for a very long time, since the beginning of this year. These guys should be a regular battalion because there were loads of them. We've rights to the guard battalion, sorry.

The three extra ranks that were added are LCpl, SCpl and SWO .. which were inspired by French Foreign Legion ranks and were added to be filler ranks.

Our members seem to enjoy our ranking structure and as such we have no plans to change them up. People found the original french words hard to pronounce and thus was born the translation idea. However, we are open to your suggestions as long as they are constructive.

I also suggested that I host it, as I am a certified NANWL referee, but the 1er really felt that they knew how to run things. Like dood really who the hell even cares if we are trying to have some fun in a lb that doesn't even matter for official records? Really? Slaying for ALL CHAT?!?!?!? If you as a host are failing to provide a fun environment with unbiased and reserved admining, ofc the other regiment is going to stop caring. Whenever I host the lb it goes perfectly fine. Just ask the 19te or the 31e. If the 1er really feels that they should host, they better damn well be sure they know what they are doing. Not only did DannyVonAustria have no idea what he was doing, he was only trying to mimic what he thought referee's did. He allowed some all chat to get to his head and put priority of his own emotions over admining a fair event. The 1er have never even set foot in the NANWL, so them believing in what their admin was doing was clearly mistaken. A shitty event leads to shitty behavior.

Based from the parts I watched (Couldn't handle it).

I just watched some parts, not the entire video, but I must say it is annoying to play (either unofficial or official) and deal with people who constantly abuse all chat like the Nr37 does, if you guys were asked nicely to stop abusing all chat, then why continue? There is a "y" button, that sends messages exclusively to your team.
I can understand their stress, and I would personally slay people aswell (With warnings of course, before the slay). You must understand that either unofficial or official, they take it serious and it would be nice if you care about it in the best sense. And of course if you will use all chat, refrain from insulting and instigating fights.

People judges you based on your actions, be smarter.
Maybe stop being cancer or act like a "certified" referee. And the guys who recorded.. no words can describe the atrocity they type.
